	1995 - I think
 -
I use to watch the show back then also. In those days I always had a tape in the VCR - just so I could tape music stuff mainly. I think I have Pear Jam night on tape. Plus - other things - such as the night Salman Rushdie popped up. Does anyone recall when Letterman was on in the mornings? I seem to recall watching it in the summer of 1980.

I am probably more of a GNR guy that I am Replacements guy, but I still find this sort of weird: (It sort of reminds me of the various metal bands whose members come and go - and play with people they use to hate.) (Although - according to Tommy, Duff and Axl get along.)
 -
One of the greatest movies of all time: Big Trouble in Little China (1986)
 -
Here is who the presenters are this year:
 -
There is actually a whole entire book about that show. I think the title is: Bob Dylan - Just Like The Night. I have not read it though.
 -
I still think it was Robbie who said that.

	National Dust
 -
It looks like they are hanging it up for now:
 -
Jun 6: Jeff Tweedy Three Rivers Arts Festival Pittsburgh, PA (That is where it all started for me - way back when.) I should try to find a ride up there.
 -
Check the Neil Young thread - There's a video posted in the thread that features various musicians and music business people talking about the sound. I don't think Jeff is in the video. You ain't going to hear it unless you have 400 bucks to spend on a PONO player.

I wonder if that is a first - opening with Mountain Jam? He won't be there tonight either.
 -
I think it is great. There was actually a re-make several years ago. It did not last very long.

Strangest Guest performers you have seen at a show

He also co-wrote some ABB songs with Dickey. -
Another scary show from my childhood. You can find it on YT also.
 -
They must be playing Mountain Stage. As I now add all dates to our Wilco show sheet - I appreciate the work you are doing here.
 -
The one I seem to recall was the segment about an old guy who picked up junk along the road and had a much younger girlfriend (possibly).
 -
I remember that show. It was on during the time I was in high school.

The Jayhawks (including Louris, Olson, and related)

I don't think they could get me to buy Smile again. We shall see. -
That is who Ronnie is singing about in Sweet Home Alabama. (Now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers/And they've been known to pick a song or two. . .) And of course David Hood is the father of Patterson Hood.

This talk makes me think of the film Chariots of the Gods (which I saw in grade school, believe it or not). I would not watch In Search of. . . at night. It is still spooky.
 -
You may not want to know this - but you can find all of the In Search of. . . episodes on Youtube. Although - the versions on there are from the days when it was on the History Channel. The beginning sequence is different. One of the scariest things I can recall seeing as a kid is that film of Bigfoot running around in the woods.
