  1. Hearing the new the Futureheads song excites me.
  2. A lot of people speak of disappointments in A Weekend In The City; I prefer it over Silent Alarm. np: Yo La Tengo Paris, France September 11th 2007
  3. After playing Helicopter with some friends on Guitar Hero III, my interest with Bloc Party has sparked again.
  4. Maybe I should buy the vinyl of this album right now. *drools
  5. I love the elegant logic of Gene Simmons. I mean, he can somehow jump from one conclusion to another, and make statements opposite of their nature. What an observant man for taking note of these anomallies and consciously denying their existence. It's sort of like saying the Holocaust never occurred. I know Spiderman agrees with me.
  6. Devices enforce silence of cellphones illegally through use of cell phone jammers. Should we start petitioning to have our legislators legalize these or should we continue to passively glare a bitch slap at people for intruding in our lives with their trivial calls? via MetaFilter
  7. My clique of friends have been playing a lot of Mario Strikers Charged. Waluigi should thrust his pelvis more often in a ESRB 10+ game. But I'm looking forward to a port of Okami coming to the Wii as well as Samba De Amigo. However, maracas aren't included.
  8. As I continue to ponder into this matter deeply, I realize that if I were in Joss Whedon's place, I would stay pissed at FOX for epochs to come. I guess FOX has created a good example with Family Guy, but they haven't done much other than House recently to impress me. This is also the same corporation that dug Arrested Development's grave. >_>
  9. After watching Thurston Moore perform on Jimmy Kimmel, I may have to check out Trees Outside The Academy.
  10. Yes. Like you, I also have opinions. NOW, this is just my opinion, that I have opinions too. I still love these Wilco and Radiohead, but I'm not going to fap over everything they do. Albums will come under scrutiny. People will love and hate A.M. and Pablo Honey. If you think it's awesome, cool beans! If I think it's awful, good riddens! Humble beginnings sounds more like "excuse them for making their first album", which is not a valid way of criticizing an album. Nevertheless, I'm still going to encourage new fans to visit the genesis once they're done with the catalogue and let t
  11. Listening to Pablo Honey is like listening to the Beatles before they realized they were musicians. It's not a good rock record; it's just a fun mess with the eversopopular Creep. You can have all the fun you want with Pablo Honey, but it's like tipping for a cheap fix on the corner of 8 Mile and Woodward. I could make more metaphors, but I could waste less space by suggesting a revisiting of the rest of Radiohead's catalogue. And if you still want a good rock record from Radiohead, then choose The Bends.

  13. I thought the show had a lot energy pumping through the audience, an excellent four song suite with Andrew Bird, and a pretty underwhelming setlist. I'll wait for Hill Auditorium redux.
  14. I swore I heard a snippet of All For Swinging You Around during yesterday night's Heroes. Since when did Californian cheerleading teenagers listen to the New Pornographers?
  15. Stay away from Pablo Honey, unless you've heard the rest of Radiohead's catalogue.
