  10. Thanks for posting the setlist Noticed more Gregg songs than the later years of tours. Still miss Gregg, and know I always will miss seeing the ABB. So glad in retrospect that I went more that 20 times. Found this article that a few might have read, has some stories in it I had never read.. Old Before My Time.. https://www.relix.com/articles/detail/old_before_my_time_a_conversation_with_gregg_allman
  11. Great song !Seen Mark Knopfler early 2000s and he was still rocking with a solid band. Got Brothers in Arms for the Encore, floated home. Saw him again a few years ago nice night but that 1st time was amazing.
  12. Lots of my friends that are ABB & GD also were unaware of Donovan's Lyrics or that there were lyrics ..Moving on Picked reasonable priced tkts Bob & Phil in Boston at what was once the Wang Theatre that Wilco has played prior.. Supposed to have some special guests .. Avoided the package 449 for two drinks and soundcheck
  13. Same here, saw him with ABB ( Just once ) a long time ago .. 98 I think ..Also would check him out if he passes through Boston. Read something about arthritis bothers him, but until last year he was playing local places in FLA where he lives.

  17. Already Great .. gave it a listen .. Initially, It does take me back to his more constructive 70's sound, then it goes awry. After starting bit of story telling filled with some good hooks, he incorporated A group of people saying words that were difficult to dechiper in one listen. More recently Another vote for Le Noise as a good song. Caught that tour and many others over the years. It's been an interesting ride in last 15 years seeing him LIVE. Hope he heads out again soon..
  18. Caught Dead and Company twice last week in Boston. Here's my .02 from Last Sunday Night Dead and Company - Boston N - 2 Good Show Balanced setlist between Radio Classics from back in the 60s & 70s to deeper cuts. I need a Miracle Everyday was one of those GD AOR hits off Shakedown Street in the 70s that got huge reception. Dire Wolf one of Jerry's best songs imho, it was one of the deeper cuts and Mayer did a decent job covering it, and it was warmly received. Other standouts were Playing in the Band, Morning Dew and a singalong & energetic Casey Jones. Thankful that I saw the r
  19. I was on the fence about John Mayer being a part of it.But after having seen a Worchester show 2 years ago I was a believer that this might work. I have since seen summer shows in CT, Fenway, and the two most recent Boston's . . The present incarnation delivers the most energized sand balanced Show since GD. Thankful that I saw the original. Nothing will come close to when they were on. I'm happy that they are committed to keeping this music alive by playing it live. Many of my friends feel the same. Reviews are often filled with the words this bamds on fire, sometimes they do lock in tightly
