George Clinton & Punk did a surprisingly strong show last night in Beverly at The Cabot. I had low expectations having seen a mailed in performance the House of Blues earlier in the year. George was in decent voice and the band was full of energy with the usual circus like fun atmosphere he had the audience dancing all night.

Agreed, he's also got a solid band behind him, same one for years. Tonight was Brit Floyd it was as good as a Pink Floyd Cover Band could be. They are better than the Aussie version imho.

Seeing Our Local's Dropkick Murphy's Wrap up a 5 night end of tour with the usual Fundraiser tonight. The Band has raised over 2 million for their Chaddagh Fund who's primary mission is aiding those with substance abuse.
