Good Writing thanks for the review. Good to know they still Rock and deliver the Goods Love that Walking the Dog! Being from Boston I have seen them since 75 About 10 times (lapsed on the 80's and early 90's As recent as Last Summer Good Show (they started tour Northeast before the broke up for a bit.) I totally would have Seen the Local Dream Double Boston Shot J Geils Band/ Aerosmith at Fenway This Saturday But have branched out and chose Wilco.

Agree on the stage no big deal if I am 50 feet from stage hoping the sound is mixed well for the surroundings... The answer to this ? maybe found or debated elsewhere but her goes.. After looking at the schedule should I hold no hope that Tweedy will make any guest appearances on Friday night..? Here is the Long Range Outlook.for North Adams hoping it Holds Up Looking Good! http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USMA0282

Totally agree I am a LT Board member of BTX the Springsteen Fan website and have in organized pre show parties and it is simple get a mtg area ours is a Irish Pub in Boston or CT or RI and use sharpies and have cold beer at reasonable prices Great Gathering/Conversation/ Merriment ensues... You can make it Also always a good Idea to have a Separate Thread for the ROll Call That you can update as you did this one as date gets closer e g Subject VCr Meet Up Who's iN? Instructions List your VC Name where from How many in your group paste the roll call in your post and add your name 1)

I gotta be honest. I listened to both CSN(Y) original albums until I don't care if I ever hear them again. And Four Way street just plain sucks. Subsiquent CSN albums are way bad. ???? unsure who posted this but ... my counterpoint.. Deja Vu CSNY penning OHIO and Recording it 4 days later Find another Reactionary Active Band that did that in that time period There music was is meaningful to a lot of people... "Who can forget their simple honesty of this is our second time playing together and were scared shitless" Woodstock IMO they offer a great cannon of work and looking forward to

Chime on in and let the scenarios begin!! Also last time I saw the Divine Mavis Staples she Blew me away! Ck out this paste from Chicago Tribune in 08 At this juncture of her career, Staples’ vocals draw more from her gospel roots instead of the power of a full-tilt soul singer. Her santicfing shouts on “Freedom Highway” were one of the evening’s highlights, and she approached Robbie Robertson’s “The Weight” with the rustic dignity of her hero, Dorothy Love Coates. The evening’s encores included a stark cover of “I’ll Take You There,” where Staples was accompanied only by Holmstrom’s soulf

Went to Boston and 3 others.. In my humble opinion. Of the Four Shows in NE; the Boston Audience followed closely by Harford were Very Lively Lupos closely behind both of those, and then there is Concord well it was low key but had its Moments of Magic!Worth the Drive for us. Probably a bit hokey but I put up an Appreciation Thread* for this Tour I just had such a Great time sharing w/ Friends /turning on my Late Teen and Early 20 y/o Kids to this Marvelous Band. So add to that* and maybe just maybe this Band will Decide to Drop openers from this point on. here's the thread http://forum

Liked Jangly Guitar... Solid review Thanks for posting it! All the Wilco influences were on display, from Woody Guthrie and other punk heroes to Television and jangly guitar pop. The band even hinted of a high lonesome twang on “One By One” with guitarist Nels Cline, who was a monster all night, caressing a lap steel guitar.
