I got that password a couple days ago in an email from Live Nation. I must have Wilco set up as a "favorite" on my Live Nation account.
-
Did anyone?

Lucero was friggin great! I was right up front for most of the show. The most enthusiastic crowd I can remember being in for a long time. The entire crowd at the Royale knew and sang along to every single song. I can't figure out how these guys flew under my radar all these years. Caught them at the Sinclair last year when buddy dragged me and I had never heard of them. I'm loving this band, and particularly the new album. Not to say the Warren show wasn't also excellent, but Lucero....

Great! Psyched to go. Orpheum pre-sale is officially sold out.
-
But remember, it was only the pre -sale. Typical for bands to have small allotments for their own presale. Try for the real on-sale.
-
Only single balcony was available for the Orpheum. I had to pass on that. Will try for the real on-sale and hope for a better result. Will be driving to Portland.
-
By the time I was able to get in, couldn't get 2 together in Boston. I grabbed a single GA for Portland (the entire show is GA, is that usual for the State Theater?)
-
same here. Meanwhile Wilco just sent a second tweet with a new link to the Events page which still is not working.
-
That link is not working for me
-
they did, with a link to another page that also doesn't work
-
This is looking grim. It's only the pre-sale, I'll have another shot.
-
site must be getting hammered, can't get in
-
anyone having trouble getting onto the Wilcoworld web site this morning?
-
I don't think there is a code for today.
-
Remember everybody, there's usually a limited number of tickets available for any pre-sale, especially for a band pre-sale.
-
I get it now, all you have to do is have your email registered with Wilcoworld.net, then under the Shows tab, the pre-sale button will appear next to each show when the pre-sale starts.
-
Do we have to do anything to be registered for the pre-sale other than give Wilco our email address? Do we need to setup a separate account and login with CrowdSurge? I think I already did that because I remember getting a free Roadcase show, but don't remember how I did that.
-
Is CrowdSurge the site for the winter '16 pre-sales?
-
Back to the Orpheum in Boston. Much better than the Wang. Not an "Evening With" show, so pretty much guarantees the March 2010 show at the Orpheum will remain in my top 5 shows of all time. Very psyched for this, easy walk over from my office. May have to make a run on the Portland show as well. One is not enough.

I hear you. What I listened to and watched of the Chicago shows seemed mostly terrible, yet everyone I spoke with who was there thought they were great. I find them unlistenable. Weir is more often than not a train wreck. The exception to that was the Billy & the Kids set with Weir at Lockn'. I was so nervous for Weir, just waiting for him to fuck everything up on a moment's notice, but he didn't. Anyhow, my GD listening so far today has been Dave's Pick Vol 11, Kansas 1972, and JRAD from the Brooklyn Bowl earlier in October. You want current GD music? Go see JRAD.

I thought this was hysterical. Trey to Bobby: "Sometimes I'd be like, 'You really want to play this song that slow?'" http://www.jambase.com/Articles/126686/Trey-Anastasio-On-Fare-Thee-Well-Phish-Summer-Tour-and-More

Well, I didn't say I wanted to!

Happy to see Los Lobos on the list. Is this first time for them?
-
Yeah, "google", I've heard some folks refer to that! It was an interesting 60 minute musical performance piece. Not sure we "got" the story line, but we listened to the music, and was cool the way the performers and musicians and dancers were dispersed in and among the audience, which was seated all around the performance floor in a very small venue. Cool lighting effects. And, we got there early so we were able to grab 2 seats on one of the floor aisles, so there were many times I would only have been closer to Courtney if I had thrown my arms around her and hugged her.
