If your finances can swing it, go for one of the multi-night runs. Like last October's Portchester 3 night run. 90 different songs or something like that.

A Milestone tonight! That's great. Wish I had kept a list.

I've been doing the NPR stream, sounds good, but can't wait to get this disc or vinyl going on the home system this weekend. Have you given us your verdict yet? Inquiring minds need to know! -

Looks like you, or someone else named Paul, clarified that in the FB comments and I Got You was in fact played. -

IWTYH came out during the years I was off the Dead bus. My own days between. When I first heard it, thought I was listening to a Michael McDonald song. That is not a good thing. I also missed the years of Day Job. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Always felt Days Between would have grown into a monster Garcia second set tune, along the lines of Dew. It was pretty much close to there for me anyway, saw a couple of killer versions, must have been Boston and Albany. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Is there someone who likes Long Long Long Long Way to Go Home? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Yes, indeed they did play, to quite the review: http://ottawacitizen.com/entertainment/local-arts/wilco-lucinda-williams-bring-cityfolk-to-ripping-close?__lsa=418c-be96 "Literate, instinctive embroiderer of multiple ideas from popular music into a unique sound, and making few musical missteps over the course of its life, Wilco remains one of the finest bands on the tour circuit."

Did Wilco play yesterday in Toronto? Don't see anything in "After the Show." Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Why does Weir make me nervous? Well, falling over on stage is one reason. Losing his place, cutting in on jams, forgetting lyrics, slowing things down. To be clear, I'm a huge Weir fan over the course of the GD's career, but at this point I expect him to be more of a hindrance to the music than an asset. He proved me wrong at Lockn' with Billy. Has anyone watched the Billy & the Kids with Weir set? That was the biggest surprise set to me, given how nervous Weir usually makes me these days. I watched the pro shot video, and it was as good as I thought it was at the time. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I was there, but it all melts into one and I cannot offer any particular insight into that version of Dew. I am not a Chris Robinson fan in general, so not surprised nothing from that set stands out in my mind. Even though I am a big Krasno fan. I guess the one takeaway is I didn't notice or recall a butchering of the Dew.

The latest Ryan Adams thread V2.0
worldrecordplayer replied to nodep5's topic in Someone Else's Song
I will be listening to this having never heard any of the TS versions. So I'm all ears for Ryan. -
Nice! File under planning to "Live! Tonight!", but won't be able to make it: Heartless Bastards.

Pat for me. My shoulder hurts already just thinking about those windmill moves. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Not GD sets, but these 2 sets were my favorites from Lockn' 2015: The Jefferson Airplane tribute put together by Jack and Jorma: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5m4vzWmDuKg&feature=youtu.be And acoustic Hot Tuna's set the next afternoon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQlhsTfyQko&feature=youtu.be

Today's Wilco HQ email refers to the Austin shows as "the grand finale of the year.". Those are words I did not want to read.
