so, while i've never played in Pedro the Lion, i'm doing a month long celebration of all things hard rock/metal called ROCKTOBER (original, i know) on my blog. videos, book/album/film reviews from a recovering metal-head/current hipster doofus...all reaking of codpieces and aquanet. if you have any suggestions or just want to post pics of you flashing a band onstage...feel free. i have over 10K posts, so this is a PSA...not spam.

oh, absolutely. the guinness being on hand is a situation of convenience...i usually pick up my week's supply of beer when i do my grocery shopping and their selection is not vast. i'm lucky they carry the fat tire. i'll head over to my local liquor store when i run out, have time and get more unique stuff. big ups on the Victory (i like that Hops Devil every so often) and Great Lakes mentions (Burning River and Elliot Ness are pretty good). we actually ate dinner at the great lakes brewery when we were in cleveland checking out the rock'n'roll HOF...really nice place, good food too. sucks

i'll echo what everybody just said. i don't think it was the wrong decision based on past performance, it just didn't end up working out. the real problem was lack of big bats. it wasn't a route or anything, still anybody's series. i fell asleep in the middle of the game and woke up in the 8th.

i don't have the patience, but my neighbor brews some wicked stuff a couple of times each year.

i buy a 12 pack of new belgium's fat tire almost every week, but their mothership wit is even better. they just don't carry it at my corner grocery like the FT. they did carry six packs of the seasonal 'skinny dip'...but i didn't really dig that all too much. i also dig hoegaarden, but it's getting into stout season...so i'll probably switch over to having guinness on hand mostly.

it's a double e-whammy. for sure.
