  1. My feelings are already hurt.
  2. You don't understand. Even with that bit of information he's still the "50-year-old fugly American Idol winner" to me. No, it's Liquid Crystal Display. Biatch.
  3. Don't be shy - there's no nudity in that one.

  5. I could never get a girl as hot as his beard.
  6. Yeah, so the official word is, but his facial features make him look 50ish too. I wouldn't be all that suprised if there's a huge controversy in a year or two when it's revealed he really is old and not prematurely gray. And he'll be on the cover of People bathroom-reading-publication weeping about how he's been dying to "tell the world" and how much it "ate him up inside" and so on. He has "LCD" syndrome? Is that like "OCD"?
  7. I'm probably living under a rock on this one, but how did a 50-year-old fugly guy win American Idol?
  8. Maybe more people would get the joke if it was funny.
  9. When you're weary, feeling small, When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all Im on your side when times get rough And friends just cant be found, Like a bridge over troubled water I will lay me down. Like a bridge over troubled water I will lay me down. When you're down and out, When you're on the street, When evening falls so hard I will comfort you. I'll take your part. When darkness comes And pain is all around, Like a bridge over troubled water I will lay me down. Like a bridge over troubled water I will lay me down. Sail on silvergirl, Sail on by Your time has come to shine. All
  10. My signature is damn near perfect.
  11. Ah - according to this, they're just leaving Channel 101 and there will be more episodes in the next couple of months including one featuring Buffett. The waters are calm, the sweet breeze is flowing and life is good again.
  12. http://www.channel101.com/shows/show.php?show_id=152 Someday, I hope, these Commodores of Cool - Loggins, McDonald, Cross, Oates, Fagen, Perry, Cetera - will again set sail with their Smooooooooooooth Sounds. Guess I'll drown my sorrows in a fleet of Bartles & James wine coolers.
  13. Baby mellow my mind, Make me feel like a schoolboy on good time, Jugglin' nickels and dimes, Satisfied with the fish on the line. I've been down the road and I've come back Lonesome whistle on the railroad track Ain't got nothing on those feelings that I had. Something so hard to find, A situation that can casualize your mind. I've been down the road and I've come back Lonesome whistle on the railroad track Ain't got nothing on those feelings that I had. Baby mellow my mind, Make me feel like a schoolboy on good time, Jugglin' nickels and dimes, Satisfied with the fish on the line.
  14. I wasn't meaning to offend anyone with my comments and yes, that was a very clinical way of looking at things in the context of a debate. But tell that same woman she has a "clump of cells" that's metastized into a malignant brain tumor and she wouldn't be too happy either. The amount of suffering that cancer alone causes - both the victims and the loved ones / caregivers - is enormous and something I feel we should be devoting all of our resources towards eliminating. Wouldn't it be great to find a cure for this in our lifetimes? And since we're on the topic of kids, wouldn't it be great to
  15. As long as she looks like this I'm sure you'd be pretty happy:
  16. No, I don't think couples who do that are selfish at all, I think DECISION MAKERS who pass or veto legislation allowing or preventing researchers from getting their hands on a very limited line of stem cells in the interest of creating a few new babies - and doing so mostly on "moral" grounds - is beyond selfish and socially irresponsible. My comments about adoption and overpopulation are me taking a wider utilitarian view on the whole issue, and being concerned with the "greater good" or the well-being of the greatest number of people. I may be an asshole for saying this, but the potential be
  17. 1. I wasn't making any personal attacks on you prior to reposting your Legion of Doom post. 2. The miscarriage thing wasn't a joke - it was my slightly tasteless way of lampooning the whole "those fetus cells have a right to live", fundie right-winger bullshit argument. As far as I'm concerned it wasn't even directed at you if that wasn't ever your stance to begin with. If it was, well, tough tittie. 3. Calling me an asshole repeatedly isn't really the "high road" you seem to enjoy taking, and futher gets in the way of your "holier than thou" stance you crave. I don't recall calling you
  18. That would require 1) me having free time and 2) me being responsible and 3) me not being lazy. But thanks.
