I've been out of the loop for a while. Has anyone heard any of the new material from the upcoming album? I'm really excited. Tweedy is still funny: "It's obnoxious," Tweedy jokes. Lady Gaga's "Judas" obnoxious? "Well, it doesn't sound like Lady Gaga but it's our way of being obnoxious."

I haven't logged in for a while here but I saw that it was your birthday. Happy Birthday. Folks, I know that you all know this already but Donna is a really kind person. When my 1st babies where born 7 and 1/2 years ago, Donna sent my twins some bibs and assorted baby goodies. That was really nice and I'll never forget that. Funny topic. I asked Tweedy about his shoes ages ago. I forget what the answer was but he said he bought them in Ireland or something like that. Maybe during the MA recordings. At one point I posted in a topic about his shoes with the answer... At least about the ones he wore during the Summerteeth days.

I think I might be in the minority on this but I'm totally not enjoying this show. It makes me miss Deadwood even more.

Yeah. The Guru was great. I really enjoyed Gang Starr back in the early nineties. If you're ever looking for a good rap album and haven't got "Step In The Arena" -- get it.

Even though I love him, Dylan. Just to shake things up to see how things turned out and to ruffle some feathers. No so much as a let's get rid of a bad musical act, but more of like an experimentation a la "It's A Wonderful Life."

I don't know what's more pathetic A or B: A: "You got that ball, now keep that ball and go go....GO SCOTT BROWN" OR B: did chicken in the crock pot today and had an awesome burrito dinner. Love planning ahead!

Isn't it amazing that we can buy into a story so much as to despise a good person because they stand in the way of our protagonist who is a complete psycho? I won this one year. There was a new Chik-Fil-A opening in my old neighborhood and at that time i was getting into work really early so I was driving by and they had signs and stuff for the grand opening. I walked in but I was not within the first 100 people. They gave me a raffle ticket though and told me they were going to have drawings for free sandwiches and stuff. I couldn't believe it. I would say Scully is good but I prefer announcers who are more technical about the game. I enjoy listening to Jim Palmer here in Baltimore because he tells it like it is. Also, since we have some announcer connoisseurs here... Does Bob Costas wear a toupee?

I wonder. If Anton is such a nice guy, how did he get wrapped up in becoming an informant? We know Quinn is a dirty cop as Dexter called him but Anton was probably in with a bad crowd. Casual weed smokers don't hang around with criminals and drug dealers.

I guess it boils down to opinions again. What is better? For you it is probably different than mine. I'm not saying this is what you are saying, but if sounding more like the record is better than that's not why I even go to concerts. I go to concerts to see how a musician treats particular songs over time. Wilco seems to have abandoned all willingness to jack with a song a little bit to see how it turns out.
