Somewhat disappointed with this album but it's getting slightly better with each listen.

That's surprisingly good. I didn't have much faith in the collaboration due to Pollard's past failed collaboration. NP: Boston Spaceships - Headache Revolution

Catalog albums (18+ months old albums) are ineligible to appear on the Billboard 200 albums chart, or so says billboard, so MJ will not be #1.

R.E.M. Bonanza! I have recently been hunting down all of the REM albums I have failed to pick up over the years through a lack of interest in them (Out of Time and Around the World). You can get half of their discography for shipping costs (9 albums in all)! Even though most of these albums are not the best representation of REM's work, you can't beat that price - easily worth the price of admission in my book. You can find a copy of each of these albums for a penny: Automatic for the People Out of Time Green New Adventures in Hi-Fi Monster Eponymous Around the Sun Up Reveal Plus, t

Yes I got an email, but I left home a returned about an hour ago and it was waiting for me on my front porch. Awesome.

The mail has come and gone, no Wilco for me today.

Yeah, I got the same email. The mail should be here any minute though...

Unreleased GBV album that became Under the Bushes, Under the Stars.

I guess with pre-orders, you have to sort of expect this to happen from time-to-time? I mean, it does suck to not get the physical product the day of, but as long as you get it within a week or so, I guess that's alright. I mean, I have gotten them in a spectrum of arrivals: some a week before the date, some on the day of release, some a week late. I guess the important thing is that you get them. I just got the Lemonheads album I pre-ordered today and it was released last week. While, it sucked to not have the product in hand on the day you expected it, I still got what I paid for. I pr

I am in the same situation. Got the 7" but no LP. I was at walmart earlier and they had the cd out already. I was sad...

My favorite Modest Mouse records.

I submit 4 Lemonheads albums for your consideration. It's Shame About Ray is a classic alternative album that should be in everybodies collection. I love Come on Feel just as much. THe other two aren't masterpieces but are just as good. Stove, from Lovey, is one of his best songs ever. It's a Shame About Ray Cheapest copy: $0.65 Come on Feel Cheapest copy: $0.01 Car Button Cloth Cheapest copy: $0.82 Lovey Cheapest Copy: $1.18

To be honest CW are more like Grand Archives than BoH are. Both are superb in my opinion.
-
Yeah, I'm a big Band of Horses fan, so I got into them through BoH. I downloaded all of their albums a year ago because they're impossible to find around here.

There was a great article (maybe from Pitchfork, I'm pretty sure it was PF) from about 5-6 years ago about this same subject. I have tried in vain to find it. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? Or maybe, even better, find it?

This one only gets better with time...

Half Smiles is great but I love, love, love Earthquake Glue. The last 2 GBV records are solid in my oinion. FaCE is one of his best albums, like top 5 best. I've been trying to get my brother to get into FaCE for a while now. He has some GBV albums but not many. He won't make the jump to his solo work. I just can't convince him of how great of an album FaCE is.

I read somewhere recently that it was a concern and that they were intending on recording as the Fire Theft again but only as a recording project, not a touring unit. Yet, they're (the band) pretty unreliable on release info.
-
I am tempted to see them in Atlanta (It's a Saturday!). Never saw them live. I got into them around the Rising Tide, so this could be my moment.

So f-in' weird. I went this place called a "record store" today and exchanged money for a copy of this album...

From Billboard: Man, I would love to see this.
