Wow, I finally found a reasonably-priced copy of this album! I am really happy. It's one of those record nerd moments you can savor. I found a copy of Seacaucus a few weeks back too. P.S. - Someone tell me about this new Yo La Tengo.

I felt the same way and still do to a certain extent but when my wife and I saw them live back in March it changed my tune at least. My wife loves Cardinology but the live setting won me over. I still find it to be a weak album in comparison to his other albums but I think his stuff is top notch anyways. -

I'm guessing they mean that DRA = David Ryan Adams. -
Lost Songs was definitely released after White Ladder. The sticker on the front of the cd made it very clear that it was not the follow up to White Ladder but songs that were written before it.

This is great. I have their first one but none of the others in a physical format.

I am still amazed at this man's creativity.

Why can't there be one of these in SC? I know most of our residents cannot read but...

Been forever since I listened to these guys.

That LSL album is pretty good in my opinion. If you like it look up their second album, Trysome Eatone.

Monsters of Folk (James, Oberst & Ward)

I agree with solace, their output has been going downhill since then. I dunno. I have listened to Z and Evil Urges less than any of their other albums. Evil Urges being one of the worst albums by a band that I admire. I think MMJ have it in them to make a great album but they seem to want to change so much that they have lost focus. I dunno, they just aren't the same. -
The record store has a really nice stereo system too. The guy is a vinyl dude, so it wouldn't be a stretch to say that it may have even been a vinyl copy he was playing.

I swore I wasn't going to get this, but I was in the record store yesterday and it was playing. The dude said it was this record. I was blown away at how good it sounded, so I bought it today...

Here are some more things I like that I feel are more than worth the price of admission: Zwan - Mary Star of the Sea CD Version = $.01 or CD/DVD = $.05 Best Pumpkins album not made by the original Pumpkins. I love this disc. Love Spit Love - S/T (ex-Psychedelic Furs) CD = $.01 Great CD from an almost forgotten band. Am I Wrong is still great to my ears. Bash & Pop - Friday Night is Killing Me CD = $.01 Great album that should be owned by everyone.

That's pretty decent. I can't wait for the album. -
Perhaps, but I only drink soft drinks maybe 2-3 time a month vs. chain-smoking and drinking myself into oblivion for several nights out of a week for several years. I sobered up and tried to be healthy. For me, it was self-destructive. Me drinking a coke 2-3 times a month ain't gonna kill me (I dunno, I hope not).

Used to do both, now I do neither. Spend my dough on more important things I guess.

I had to stand in line at a gas station behind some snaggeled-toothed hoothcie-may today. She was complaining about cig. prices and trying to use "intelligent" discourse on how to make a wise economic choice when buying her fix. I just wanted to purchase my cherry coke, but heck no!!! I had to listen to her talk about what her favorite brand was, and how many packs could she get if she got this other brand and on and on and on. Just buy a pack already! Needless to say, I was not happy.

I think there are ~$37 tickets available. Sounds good to me too.

This show is coming to town at the end of the month and the wife & I are gonna try to go. I've seen Willie: great show. Never seen Dylan or JM: I like Dylan and the wife likes JM. Win-win for both of us. We are gladly gonna pay the $60 a ticket.

Well, you're really talking about two completely different classes of droids. There are multiple examples of "fast" droid, such as assassin droids, in the expanded universe that have been around for thousands of years. An R2 droid and protocol droids are completely different than a battle droids. Battle Droids are expensive to make and maintain. The more complicated the droids function, the more $$$ it costs to develop and maintain. Simple galactic economics. Lucas explains that the "current" technology levels have been fairly consistent for 17,000 by the time Ep.I starts. This is "o
