  2. Iguazu Falls - Make sure you visit from both sides: Brazil and Argentina. Brazil is the best sides for activities, Argentina for the best view. Tikal Guatemala - Definitely.
  3. There's 1 hour 40 minutes (a few songs are missed out) of this on a certain online video site with good steady fixed camera angle and good sound. I particularly enjoyed the guitar nerd interaction described in Banter Corner above. It goes on for quite a while and JT's comic timing in reeling of a seemingly endless list of guitar nerd facts was top notch.

  6. Wilco definitely have a UK mole at the Guardian. http://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/jun/29/solid-sound-review-wilco-jeff-tweedy-mac-demarco
  7. Previous interviews are there now. They may put todays in the same place ... http://wamc.org/search/google/wilco?query=wilco&cx=010251366440257945544%3Ajp6hq5g7clk&cof=FORID%3A11&sitesearch=#stream/0
  8. http://wamc.org/post/your-new-best-friends-jeff-and-spencer-tweedy-solid-sound#stream/0 Quite a few past interviews there too that I had not heard:- http://wamc.org/search/google/wilco%20tweedy?query=wilco%20tweedy&cx=010251366440257945544%3Ajp6hq5g7clk&cof=FORID%3A11&sitesearch=#stream/0
  9. The Guardian comes up with some random coverage in the UK. Nothing too dramatic but the last line is nice. http://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/jun/25/wilco-solid-sound-festival-daydream

  11. Starts very detailed and you imagine it's going to be a long nice interview but then cuts off abruptly. http://www.vanyaland.com/2015/06/24/interview-nels-cline-on-a-decade-in-wilco-musical-versatility-and-not-emulating-hendrix/

  13. http://www.standard.co.uk/goingout/theatre/beatles-abbey-road-sessions-recreated-for-new-show-at-royal-albert-hall-10336928.html Something a bit different though I can't say I'm that interested in going. £55 a pop. I did get to go inside Abbey Road once. They should get those guys who recreated the second side of the Abbey Road album - someone put a link here to their video a while back I think. Will they have Yoko sitting in the corner knitting? Also, new Allen Klein book apparently. http://www.salon.com/2015/06/21/the_prize_when_news_of_the_beatles_imminent_financial_danger_spread
  14. Available at the bottom of the vimeo page under a heading of 'Extras' last time I looked yesterday.
  15. You know, I probably won't. I would have bought an extras film of rehearsal/DVD footage - I did see the extras trailer and that looked great, but I can't get too excited about the actual film. I think you had to be there for it to be a nice souvenir since there is a lot of stuff I am not that interested in. Someone offered to PM me the answer to the last cover, so that will put me out of my misery later :-) Just curious about that in case it was something I requested and/or why it did not make the cut depending on what it was.
  16. So, what's this last cover then? ... and there are extras (was also surprised to see Pat have a bit of a strop in the trailer) - is that a separate download? Available yet? Is there a description of what it contains? Questions, questions ...
  17. Any reports on this yet please? I'm primarily interested in getting a feel for the percentage of time that Wilco actually feature - either in concert footage or rehearsal, or any Wilco-related interview/banter etc. I was always hoping that the project might be released as 'the film' and then an extras bundle with all the Wilco stuff they shot, but given the streamed release that's not going to happen. So, basically I'm dithering as to whether I need to go for this.
  18. http://www.stereogum.com/1809208/watch-members-of-wilco-shellac-american-football-more-join-wire-on-pink-flag/video/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPG6tIcUOeA Well, it's no Rockestra Theme ... and I'm not sure I can spot a member of Wilco in the video.
  19. I think this might be the Loft visit article available online now http://www.fretboardjournal.com/features/magazine/inside-wilcos-loft

  21. A breakfast prize. http://wrsi.com/2015/05/26/want-to-have-breakfast-with-wilco/ Breakfast is my favourite meal. Always hungry in the morning and tea and toast never gets old.
  22. Ha! I am talking about the RUGBY world cup :-) I am afraid that I cannot watch womens football. There are plenty of sports where women excel and could compete with men, but in football they always look worse than a local pub team. These days I can barely stand mens footbal either it has to be said. The money has corrupted the mentality of the players and the game suffers as a result. Play acting, beratting the referee. Have you ever heard a wired up rugby ref talking with the players. They don't stand any nonsense. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YUF9LSXAkY
