Cliff Richards made it in, right?

Also, I just found out that the owner of Crows Nest patented the "dugout" back in 1980. That Weezer CD is just dying to find a new home....make me an offer, Weezer freaks!
-
Well.....the 6 hour doc he did, extolling the virtues of Wendell Willkie was a bit much, don't you think?
-
Station Eleven was good. I thought Dog Stars more true to human nature though.

Today, I'm thinking about the estate sale I went to last weekend. It was at the home of the owner of Crows Nest, a local record store chain that closed doors 10 years ago. Holy moses, it was a treasure trove of rock n roll stuff and it was mobbed by rock n roll freaks. I picked up no life size cutouts of bon jovi and tina turner, nor did I buy gigantic posters of pink Floyd's momentary lapse of reason. I did get some cool Rhino CD samplers and Weezer's Christmas CD from 2000 (mint condition). Any Weezer freaks interested in that CD? PM me, lets chat.

"The Dog Stars" by P Heller. Yes, another post-apocalypse book but very well written.

As someone who willingly goes on frozen lakes and fishes for hours thru little holes drilled thru the ice and enjoys doing so, I find the prospect of sitting in a ball park in springtime freezing my toes off to be an event much avoided. How much snow did Comiskey get today? Go Sox!

I've finally gotten around to "Tempest" and have found it to be pretty darn good. His voice suits the tunes. I liked it so much I actually bought the album.

and that sheep was more equal than others.

whatsammatta, bee in yer bonnet? Happy to help, Lammy!

An Osprey flew over me and the pup as we did our lunchtime walk (this time in the rain).

Oh man. A few of his tunes were responsible for getting me into country music. Another country music legend laid down to rest. RIP Merle.
-
Indeed. Nary a shred of cable news in my household.
-
I read that "Million Dollar Bash" book before I had any of the Basement Tape recordings because I'm a Dylan nerd. Sid Griffin did a hell of a lot of research for that book.

the new Scott Sterling (volleyball!) came out yesterday

As my main man Ike Turner once crooned "River Deep, Mountain High".......ya dig?

I haven't had cable or satellite since 1995 and while I enjoyed Netflix for the time we had it, my wife went and cancelled it one day for reasons unknown. We do have Prime but then that involves the wifes computer so....I'll be watching more reruns of Sanford and Son. That Grady, he so crazy!
-
But we have no Netflix so I cant see that or "Grand Theft Parsons" which I really want to see.......
-
I was watching some Bluebirds and Meadowlarks at the prairie this morning.
-
In anticipation of seeing "Midnight Special" soon, I watched "Take Shelter" last nite. Crazy good flick. Headed to see "Shakespeare in Love" at a local theater tonite.

If I was a Hillary hater and found myself in a position that I had to vote for her or Trump or Cruz, I would abstain from voting.

No, budget is way too big. It helps if the film is exploitive in some way as well. Also, the less redeeming qualities, the better. For example, see "Attack of the Giant Leeches". Or one of my personal favorites "Manos: Hands of Fate". I'm considering getting Torgo's tortured face tattooed on my back.
-
Sure, that would qualify. So would "The thing with two heads" starring Rosie Greer.
-
Low budget horror or sci fi flix. Some examples that would qualify are "attack of the mushroom people" or "the incredible melting man".
