I hate-watched it, but thoroughly enjoyed Lizzo and Lil Nas X.

Tremendous shots, Tim. I was camped out on the rail in front of Nels for all three shows. You must have been right in front of me for several of your photos. Cloud 9 did a great job. I wish they would have had Yo La Tengo headline Night 3 instead of Dr. Dog.

Just finished listening to it for the second time. Two questions: (1) How have I not heard of this band before this month and (2) why is an album with four undeniably great songs on it self-released? It's an excellent album with shades of Pavement, Silkworm, Archers of Loaf and Beulah (for the horns). Thanks for the recommendation.

On Sunday at SkyBlueSky, the hotel played "Farewell Transmission" over its music system. I thought I was dreaming!

I saw a nice little write-up/review of Anodyne in Rolling Stone. Picked it up and liked it. Then picked up Trace when it was released (loved it) and A.M. when it was released a few months later (liked it). But when I got Being There as a Christmas gift from a friend in 1996, I was blown away. To quote Patterson Hood, "And the rest (as they say) is history." That friend who gave me Being There for Christmas? We got married a few years later.

All teams were specifically warned by the Commissioner's office about this type of cheating prior to the 2017 season (after the Red Sox and Yankees were caught using Apple watches to relay information about stolen signs). The Astros (and apparently the Red Sox) ignored the warnings and failed to implement a culture which discourages cheating. I though
