Chicago had 13 consecutive days of measurable snow (that will end today) and now comes the polar vortex.

Binge-watched the first season of The Kominsky Method on Netflix with Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin. Enjoyed it quite a bit. On to Season Three of True Detective.

Agreed. Youth & Young Manhood is a terrific album. The rest of their output is unlistenable, They have been on my axis of musical evil since their second album.

I'm stealing that one.

I have a friend who goes way back with Steve -- they worked at a restaurant together and wrote songs together in Nashville decades ago. Dinner fell through, but I did spend 40 minutes with Steve in the Green Room after the show. He could not have been nicer and more laid back. Big baseball fan! Great show and a memorable night.

I prefer seeing him with the Dukes, but tonight is a solo show. Long story, but there’s a good chance I’m having dinner with Steve before the show.
