IMO if you think Rice gets in, then you should let in Albert Belle too. He was basically just a better version of Jim Rice. And I don't even think Belle is on the ballot anymore. Rice was a very good player for a few years. He just wasn't good enough for long enough. He is the opposite of Andre Dawson, who was a good play for a long time, but never a great player. I am cautiously optimistic about this album, just as I have been about every Weezer album since Green. Of course, I'm one of the few people in the world who loves Maladroit. Sure, the lyrics are mostly pretty lame, but it's got some great songs.

For the record, Lupe's new album is spectacular (Maybe my favorite album of the year, and certainly my favorite hip hop album of the year), and it is basically one long diatribe against the "mainstream" of rap. "Dumb It Down" is probably the most intelligent, self aware hip hope song I've ever heard.
