Our dorm is having a gold fish contest to see whose can survive longest. I named my goldfish Friedrich after Nietzsche, and I think he is silently judging me. I have him on my desk at eye level, and he's staring at me. I don't think this relationship is going to work out if he continues mocking and judging me. I do not trust him. God is dead, Friedrich, and I fear soon you will be too.

Why? What does it say about me that I like Dane Cook? He's a funny comedian. I'm not saying he's Richard Pryor in his prime, but he makes me laugh.

And yeah, obviously you are right. That is exactly what I said. I was just saying that instead of touring more in specific areas, we may all be better served if they worked on the album more, and that if they don't play in New York, they'll probably survive.

He's a pretty terrible actor, and he was not funny on SNL. He's one of the better stand up comedians going right now though.

I hate being a Dolphins fan. Anytime you have expectations, they are bound to be terrible. David Carr would be one of the 5 best qb's in the league if he was on a real NFL team.

Hells yes I'm jealous. I live in possibly the worst major city for live music, so yeah I'm a little jealous. And I'm pretty much the only person on this board who is ever a dick. For sure.

I'd like to see Wilco again, but I'm not going to ask what the chances of them playing a show here are. They'll play here when they play. They've played in my area 5 times in their history. They've played New York something like 30 times. I think you guys can go a couple of months. I'd personally rather see them in the studio working on the Taylor Hicks Duets Cd than see them touring more.

Yeah, New York City is starved for live music.
