You people give way too much attention to image with music. Put your fucking headphones and quit worrying about the other shit.

I'm probably going to both the uf and bama games. Were probably gonna get embarrassed.
-
I'm not saying I don't like watching an AL game, for the record.
-
Plus, I'm pretty sure I said that the reason the NL is more interesting to me isn't because of triples, but because of the strategy involved and, yes, the small-ball.

Do they sound like Blink 182? If not, I probably won't like it.
-
But I thought Person Pitch was pretty bad.

I have not heard the new one. Maybe I should. But either way, this is all subjective. Whatever.

I don't get the love for Animal Collective.

"Gira lived with his parents in a relatively affluent suburb of Los Angeles, California" Fuck him.

From what I just briefly read on Wikipedia, it sounds like it was 2 songs? Whatever. I really think this is some shallow shit here. I can't imagine hating a band because of where they come from. That's really, really dumb.

They are fantastic live, still. Bonnaroo this year was insane.

Paul Simon was filthy fucking rich when he made Graceland. What an asshole. And if we're going to get into this, what the fuck does Jay Farrar know about grain whiskey stills, and what was 18 year old Jeff Tweedy doing singing about the depression? At least Vampire Weekend isn't singing about living in Africa or anything.

Who fucking owns a genre of music? That's ridiculous, man. And, yeah as Solace said, they're a pretty good little group. They definitely know what they're doing.

Meh, whatever. You don't like them. I don't think they "ape" shit, but whatever. They've been influenced by a genre of music, and it's apparent on a few songs, but for the most part, they are just a guitar pop band. If you really think all they've done is exploited the genre of Afropop, then I think you haven't really listened to them. Anyone who has ever been influence by anything ever is taking part in minstrelsy. You heard it here first. Solace, aren't they upper middle class to begin with? I think that was his point. Fucking assholes! How dare they? God, that fucking bothers me. W

Man, I can't imagine being in that plane.

Watching this now, seems pretty crazy. CNN is saying everyone seems to have gotten off safely.

I would think he's got a more than decent chance of going in as a manager.
-
Plus, in the NL, the manager actually does have some marginal affect on the outcome of the game. Joe Torre is going to be a Hall of Fame manager for sitting with his legs crossed for like 15 years.
-
That guy's crazy, though. Methinks you forgot to bring your sarcasm detector today. And not necessarily better quality. More conducive to winning games.

Calm down. You're just jealous because you're brand of baseball is inferior. And a home run is kind of boring. I mean, you score a run, so that's exciting, but if you are in the stadium, I'd say a triple is more exciting to watch. But it's not like either of those events are owned by any one league. So let's look at what the two leagues do differently mostly at the plate. AL teams have more sluggers down the line, so they generally put the ball in play less, walk more, and strike out more (this is all just a guess, but I'd say on average, judging the 8 position players in an NL lineu

Adding the context of "game winning" for the HR feels like cheating to me.
