    A Cherry Ghost
  1. I've always loved the Olympics. Now I also love: - Vancouver - Canadian hospitality - Quatchi, Miga, Sumi AND Mukmuk - Stanley Park - high-density neighborhoods with mountain views - Nanaimo bars - black-market Team Canada hoodies and much, much more. I can't say enough good things about our Canadian Olympics experience. Or for that matter, about our Canadian hosts for making it happen!
  2. And don't forget, one of our nieces is an "NFC Championship Game baby."
  3. I'm Marcia to your Jan, I won't try and deny it . . .
  4. But could you please report who actually first got you onto VC?
  5. Nostalgia, indeed! WATB busts out the Airstream trailer -- I feel like it's 2003 again!
  6. That is also exactly what I was thinking when I read that. And yeah, I wouldn't have been nearly as discreet as that . . .
  7. I can't believe gogo hasn't chimed in yet, to say how close we were to walking out of the Rick Springfield vehicle Hard to Hold. But we didn't! We sat through all 93 awful minutes. Lord, that was a bad movie.
  8. What a great, great show. For all of the reaons that have already been mentioned. Although the Greek is not my favorite venue either, that sure didn't seem to matter last night, when I was seeing my favorite band in the world alongside some of my favorite people in the world. Couldn't have asked for much more . . .
  9. As a proud alum of Thomas Edison Elementary School, I'm going to take this as a personal insult and quit the board.
  10. Yay babies!!! She's beautiful, Judy. And that pic with Miles is priceless. Can't wait to meet her next month!
  11. Untrue. You also now know who HacMan is. (Our brother bumped into him on the street yesterday.)
