  1. Because I had to contact them twice to get an answer, and the answer was disappointing. That's bad business. I only used them to save ten bucks but now I know it wasn't worth it. If they'd let me know on the 17th that they didn't have it yet, I'd have accepted that. Now I get to buy it at a local store anyway.
  2. Anyone heard Dylan doing Things We Said Today from the Macca tribute album? It's atrocious.
  3. - And I love it when you open a show with "Misunderstood," because that's sort of going through all the emotions. - It's a scorched earth way of opening a show. That is a great line.
  4. I hope everyone isn't just posting here and not clicking on sfchi's link up there! Web traffic ain't gonna drive itself folks!
  5. Still, you did say the White Stripes "broke out" in 1999.
  6. It's OK if people like beer you don't like.
  7. Oh man, I miss The Burren. That sounds nice.
  8. Have you ever been unsure of what to believe, Hix old man?
  9. Great songs. Album still sounds like a jar of Cheez Whiz.
  10. What do you think of the efforts and deals that went into retrieving him, Hixter?
  11. You're right about that. But I thought it was Gandolfini's broken knee or whatever that led to the extra episodes.
  12. Damn, that first Natural Child tune is some cool shit. Onto the next one.
  13. Fuck yeah! Great piece of writing. I could've kept reading on and on.
  14. He's talking specifically about being not bored enough to do a tour. THAT NIGHT AT O2 WAS MAGIC AND DON'T YOU EVER FORGET IT.
  15. I looked this up and am posting this link for the pic. http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2014-05-15/led-zeppelins-stairway-to-heaven-vs-dot-spirits-taurus-a-reckoning
  16. Chronicles is great and yes, let's have another, Bob! I loaded the audiobook of Chronicles on my iPod (Sean Penn reading) and during my walk to work the past few weeks on shuffle I've heard a bunch of it and it's always a welcome addition to the mix of music. Funny when it goes from a story about Suze introducing Dylan to Rimbaud's works into Public Enemy's My Uzi Weighs A Ton.
  17. Nice. I was just listening to Rabbit Fur Coat and wondering what the hell she was up to.
  18. Yeah, Welcome to the Machine is one of their least durable tunes. So overwrought and corny.
  19. This was supposed to happen back in 1999 or 2000. He had some deal with HBO for a late night show.
