  1. That's my #2! EDIT: Wait, North By Northwest is #2. Then Notorious. Then Dial M For Murder. Then Teh Psycho.
  2. "And for what? For a little bit of money. There's more to life than a little money, you know. Don't you know that? And here ya are, and it's a beautiful day. Well, I just don't understand it." - Marge Gunderson, Fargo
  3. This is a Boston thing - MTV for the kiddies who didn't have cable. Poor signal, but great personalities and videos. Must've aired The Hooters' "And We Danced" a thousand times. And they aired their own video for Prince's "Raspberry Beret" (which consisted of a shot of the record spinning and not much else) when Prince announced he was no longer making videos. They aired an entire Aerosmith concert and Live Aid, too. Link to V66 memories I imagine other cities had stations like this?
  4. If I did Red Sox -- oh, wait.
  5. From the few tunes I've heard, I think I would enjoy this record sans Deschanel.
  6. I have a Shods CD. I don't think that song's on it though.
  7. I have a Spanish sleeve 45 of John Lennon's "Mother" that my friend bought for me in Barcelona.
  8. What with your quotes around professional, you could've just deleted everything before the comma.
  9. The Birds is my favorite Hitch flick. It just is.
  10. "Every Christmas night for 7 years now I drink banana daiquiris till I'm blind..."
  11. I loved Darjeeling - it far exceeded my expectations. Probably my favorite Wes film since Rushmore.
  12. Mattor of fact, it was purple. Huh, and I thought I was special.
  13. I once found Prince sleeping between sides 2 & 3 of my copy of 1999. He winked and burst into a cloud of shiny dust.
  14. Does anyone recall this, and who it might have been? I'd be interested in talking to that member. Thanks.
  15. I have a toy guitar that Beck signed outside a radio appearance in '96.
  16. That was a beautiful night. My #1 all-time sports moment is Pedro pitching 6 shutout innings in relief in Game 5 of the 1999 ALDS.
  17. Well, the numbers are different, for one thing.
  18. Wow, do those people all look hip.
  19. As a kid, I was fascinated by that whole saga when it happened. Blew my mind that someone (a writer!) could do that.
