  1. What was the significance of the wrong tag being on Omar's body in the morgue? I got nuthin.
  2. Is it at least a two-hour finale? I mean - we got a lot to settle.
  3. Anyone know how many eps are left? (After what is it - ep 10 tonight)?

Don't forget that last one also said:
  5. I'm gonna go ahead and recommend the film to you.

Someone who's into James Blunt has a problem with Train?

Yup - admittedly though, as someone said, he may need to have it taken in a bit.
  8. My dad likes that movie. Saw The Savages this weekend. Effective, at times plodding, study of two siblings caring for their demented elderly father, who abandoned them decades earlier. Particularly remarkable was the non-romanticized take on the gifted kids of emotionally broken families cliche. Excellent acting throughout - I could watch Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney all day.

I can't believe the number of people here who didn't like the suit. Damn.
  10. This pretty much happened with me and a friend of mine, too. Anytime I brought up Wilco in the past, all he'd say was "fell in love with the drummer/fell in love with the drummer." Every effing time. I played "Hate It Here" and "You Are My Face" for him from the web site stream and he totally did a 180. He even owns Glenn's disc now.
  11. Jesus effin Christ, what is this, pro wrestling?

I did notice that he was about the height of two full Ellen Pages. A dull mess of skits, except: - Smiegel's Obama/Jesse/Sharpton cartoon - I was rolling. The Wayans Brothers in Podiums. - Fred Armisen's comedian character on the news was hilarious - he is quite a talent. "It's just...I mean...I have three cousins?"
  13. I'm all caught up now - just watched tomorrow's episode. If the word anticlimactic can be used as a compliment, then I would use it for Omar's death scene.
  14. Holy cosmos - last night we heard the soundtrack to that at our local burrito joint. I was surprisingly pleased to hear it, out of season.
  15. That's some wild stuff, indeed. See you again, for sure. We were living in OB at the time. One of the producer's family was there that night. I remember a bunch of middle-aged and younger people pointing at a dude's name on the poster outside, and they couldn't believe his name was on a movie poster. I wonder if kidsmoke was there.
  16. Holy shit Greg - Beth and I were at that showing. The band Rookie Card played a set in the theater before the show. Remember that? They did "Joe DiMaggio's Doe It Again."
  17. Seriously. Still seems like a hell of an odd choice.
  18. That's one way to fight the fear.
  19. I still remember seeing Yankees hats all over Dublin. Red Sox, not so much. Yankees is definitely the bigger brand.
  20. That's awesome. Apologies to bobbob, but that quote just calls for an image of Darth Maul saying "At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last, we will have revenge."
  21. Sometimes I repeat that sentence to myself.
