  1. Good point you made (maker-ed), anyway.
  2. I hear what you're saying, but it doesn't pertain to all SWPL posts such as "Standing Still at Concerts" and "Mos Def"
  3. This would be something. I talked at you on Edie's phone Wednesday night - did you catch any of it? I couldn't hear you at all.
  4. It's kind of ironic that this tune was followed by "What Light", which could have had the same intro. I dig "What Light" to some extent, but still, I thought it was funny.
  5. I need to see both films again before I can say with more assurance, but for now, TWBB wins by a bowling pin.
  6. This would indeed be something. I was hoping to see you on Wednesday for documentation's sake. Oh well.
  7. So many great performances from the 2 shows I attended (the last 2), but "Blood of the Lamb" was indeed a holy Lord moment.
  8. I had to google him. Arthur Honegger (March 10, 1892
  9. I'm counting that guy on the left as Mike Watt.
  10. It's not a bad tune - I loved that intro though. "Go to the bathroom, put your feet up, get a drink. This is fulfilling a contractual obligation."
  11. Page looks like Ronnie Lane in that first pic. Maybe it's a stunt double.
  12. Is there any chance you're commuting to a midweek meetup?
  13. A sweeping critique of each Prince release, including the personal, financial, & social circumstances that accompanied them. Insightful and entertaining (the 200+ pages fly by), but littered with so many factual errors, I found it hard to trust in the stuff that could otherwise be enlightening (for one example he has Live Aid taking place in 1984 and USA for Africa a year later - with those kinds of missteps, how am I supposed to believe him when he says Warner Bros, not Prince, shelved The Black Album).
  14. If I thought of it months ago, I'd have made 3,000 monkey shirts.
