  1. Agreed...I fell hard for this song!
  2. Seriously, once you feel safe, what is it you're longing to do? I am now fully vaccinated, plus the 2-week waiting time to reach "full" immunity of 94-95%. I'm feeling pretty safe but with reservations...I've gotten pretty good at being a hermit, and I am aghast at my fellow citizens who have been so cavalier about the virus & masking & distancing & basic science sanity, that I guess I've gone a bit feral. I truly distrust a lot of the folks I was previously pretty trusting towards. And even when my also-now-fully-vaccinated daughter came by last night to visit and take some p
  3. I know, isn't it beautiful? And it works well.
  4. You're having a good week, Mike, between getting the shot and Sunni's citizenship! Congratulations! The first shot shouldn't give you much reaction but plan to take it easy for a couple days when you get your 2nd.
  5. That's definitely the path of least resistance. Feel better fast.
  6. I laugh every time I watch this. My favorites are the fast fades past the hallway door. Pretty slick, Sammy!
  7. I'm glad you're finally getting in. Distribution has been a nightmare almost everywhere! The first shot is generally mild without a lot of aftereffects...mostly just soreness at the injection site. Good luck! Take a photo to share with us!
  8. That's a terrific shirt! I'm glad you've gotten your first shot. I didn't have any reaction to the first other than a slightly sore arm. (Pfizer) Hope it's the same for you.
  9. I'm intrigued. How did you discover them?
  10. I've always admired Jeff's sincerity and his desire to give back to the world.
  11. A 2021 Grammy for our boys, for "Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package"! For Ode to Joy! Congratulations Wilcoes!!!

Nah, I'm sure she'd be "into" the "process" if you just explained.

Cause of death is still undetermined, but there weren't any indications of foul play. It's an enormous loss to his many friends around Chicago's music scene. On last night's Tweedy Show, Jeff dedicated "Please Tell My Brother" to Lane's memory. Today I read this beautiful remembrance by my friend Chris Castaneda, fellow VC member and Lane's friend. I asked him if I could share it here. From Chris:
  14. lost highway, that may not be the exact list I'd have made, but that's one fine list. You think you could burn me a cd, just in that order?

😂😂😂 I hope Glenn reads this because I know he's always looking for new percussive sounds! It might be a bit distracting though, if in the middle of the noisy part of Via Chicago, Glenn strode offstage and then returned dragging a trash can.
  16. Holy cow, that show! Balm for the soul! John and Glenn couldn't stop smiling, and neither could I. The new song Hints is wonderful. I already want to hear it again.
  17. Welcome to Via Chicago! TCP gave a pretty great rundown. Yeah, we all have our particular favorites. I'd encourage you to dig into Jeff's solo and Tweedy band material, too. You have a lot to enjoy discovering!
  18. These are religious values I can embrace!
  19. Interesting podcast featuring Jeff Tweedy! https://object-of-sound.simplecast.com/episodes/what-makes-a-great-cover-song-feat-wilcos-jeff-tweedy#
  20. Ok This show sounds very intriguing! 🤣
  21. Best of luck, chuckrh. I hope the right combination of drug regimens can be found soon. 😘
