  1. Dear bbop, I've been reading your reviews with appreciation and admiration for years, but this one so perfectly captures the zeitgeist of the night, the energy in the room...you've outdone yourself! It's a truly great review.
  2. This is off-topic a bit but in organizing my old ssf souvenirs, I've discovered I have an extra little Solid Sound #6 schedule booklet from 2019. I don't need this extra so if somebody out there needs a ssf souvenir from 2019, just ask!

When his situation was cascading downward, he was i
  12. With the deepest sadness, I have to announce that our beloved longtime member, Joe Campbell (JCamp) has died. He left us on Christmas Eve. I'm choosing to hold him in my heart as, simply, having "left the building". I don't believe the love and kindness he exuded could just disappear. It's all energy. So Joe is still out there with his big heart and his warm, wide grin, just looking for a good venue. Joe, you always did love travel. Wherever you're off to now, I hope it's a wonderful journey. You deserve that. Bye until we meet again. Love, Donna
  13. Great to see you as well, Tweedling!
  14. This makes me happy. Who doesn't love Stan?! He deserves that trophy and all that love.
  15. I'm a few days late because how do you folks keep up with yourselves? Anyway this is 4 days past but I'm still starry-eyed and dazzled from last Friday, seeing the brilliant Evie Sands and band at The Mint, a tiny club in L.A. From the moment their set began, I was transported, outside myself and totally happy. You music addicts know exactly what I'm referring to. I was just so happy it was stupid. What an amazing and connected band Evie has, and what a force of nature she is!!! When they come around, you go see them. Don't miss them. Wow. I still can't keep the smile off my face. Th
