  1. Ok, it worked perfectly on my PC. Thanks! And yes, didn't The Jetsons promise us all our own android? Where's my housecleaning Rosie and my damned flying car?
  2. And everywhere else! Sending love and a big gust of fresh air to everyone choking and gasping in the northeast of the country. I hope you are all managing to stay indoors and avoid the worst effects of the smoke. What an ugly, scary situation.
  3. Hovering how? I'm at this & even basically know where my seat is, but all I can seem to see is the view from what I believe to be my seat. Explain it to me like I'm 5. Are you looking on a PC or iphone? I have an android and I see no seat numbers.
  4. Yes, Pasadena Julie! Well at least you're inside the venue, right? Or should I say, left? Also just a note...somebody really needs to work up a decent Ace seat map! That thing was useless. Blurry and unreadable. I still don't really know where one pair of my seats is...orch left but how left I don't know. Needs further research. (So maybe I shouldn't find your situation so funny until I check my own.)
  5. See you there, Brian & scribex6! Brian, I did score an orch center (only row R though) and my friend Julie also got one. So there were at least a few on offer today.
  6. Well, I'm ticketed for 3 of the 4 L.A. shows and while my Visa didn't burst into flames, it IS still hot to the touch and smoking a little! The ticket prices are fine; it's all the add-ons making it so expensive...venue fees and convenience fees and Our Stockholders Expect More from You fees. I think it worked out to about $108 per ticket. Ow. I know it will be worth it though, come October!
  7. Hard to imagine her gone. She seemed eternal, a force of nature. Thank you Tina. Your music moved my very soul.
  8. Hey Kevin! I have to apologize because my reply above is wrong. I found my copy of Magnificent Defeat & it isn't on there. I know I have it but now I suspect it must be on a burned disc someone made for me. At any rate, here is the correct information for it: it was only ever released on a promo disc from that era: Jay Bennett - "Replace You + 5" Promo disc only Rykodisc PRCDV-20880 Released 2006 I spoke yesterday to Jay's dear friend & collaborator, Edward Burch, and Edward confirmed that it was only ever on that promo disc..."for now", as h
  9. This oughta be fun! And it's for a great cause, the Autism Healthcare Collaborative! Only too happy to support.
  10. I'll see them with Finom opening in November in L.A. Who's opening for them now?
  11. Your photos are the next best thing to being there, Charles! And did I just make a Wilco pun?
  12. Interesting! And only fair of him to adjust the lyrics as he did.
  13. His beautiful, emotional songs were a foundation of my young adulthood. My husband once smoked a joint with him, and pronounced him a cool, mellow guy. Thanks for the memories, Gordon. Your songs will endure.
  14. No worries. Just make sure Kevin doesn't schedule the next L.A. area show for February 31st. I have plans that day.
  15. I have preordered one of the pale green "coke bottle" vinyl LPs! Pretty.
  16. Our own "Hummingbird", Vanessa, provided the beautiful butterfly shirt he's wearing on the cover! So cool, Vanessa!
  17. Gorgeous shots as always, Charles!
  18. Someday I will take you there!
  19. King Tuff in full regalia last night. The show was a blast!
  20. King Tuff at Pappy & Harriet's in Pioneertown! Expecting a lively show! We have an pretty nice stage view.

  22. I'd love to hear your buddy's perspective on the live band now versus 2003! Have a great time!
  23. It was a bonus track on 2006's "The Magnificent Defeat"...Unlisted I think. The title is just "Junior". It was also on a promo cd called "Replace You + 5". Your best bet to find a copy might be Discogs. I love that song!
