Manafort and Gates are the first two indictments. I think this is much worse than watergate. Then Nixon was pRanoid and using the power of the government to hide political opponents. Now trump has used or been used by actual enemies of the US to get elected and essentially sell Russia the US policy position they want. Why though? Revenge because obama embarrased him? Or to be in Position to enrich himself family and friends? Or ego? Some or all of the above?

Speculation is leaning heavily reorder multiple indictments with Page, Flynn and Manafort at the top of the list. Later speculation is that Kushner might be indicted too. His name popped up when the trumpers distanced themselves today from some work Kushner did with Cambridge analytics kind of tossing him under the bus.

First charges from the mueller investigation were filed on Friday. Indictment(s) are sealed so we do know who was charged or with what. Edit: this explains the emphasis on Hillary this week. They knew what was up and needed a diversion.

I was really impressed by Wentz play, especially his escaping that sack. Amazing.

Nothing shady on the contract to rebuild Puerto Rico’s electric grid. A 2 person company from a small town with no experience doing this sort of thing. So openand honest is the contract that it contains s clause forbidding an audit of the books related to the contract. No need to audit because this is a high skill company who will work effectively and efficiently. Not swampy at all.

I absolutely forgot that I ordered the Savage Young adult set and was pleasantly surprised when I found it st my doorstep today. On first sight it is nicely done. Edit: I got the CD version...so far the packaging is really nice, the booklet is really good. One of the better box set books I've seen. The CD's are held in sleeves with the Husker Du symbol cut out. All in all very nice. The bonus seven inch is on colored vinyl. Have not listened to any of it yet. The in-laws were over. Maybe tomorrow.

Trump is the natural step in the process that started with Goldwater and progressed through Nixon Reagan and Bush jr. Bush sr is the outlier here. If you want a funny/sad non political example of trumps obstinance and inability to admit that he might not always be right, google Trimp and Renoir. It’s just bizarre Edit: whoops, sorry, I just realized this Renoir topic was already covered. My bad.

But, even if it’s not a real Renoir his is better than the original. Only the best for him.

I'm watching Live at Pompei right now and am surprised at how much "Spinal Tap" is in it. Mainly in the band interview spots. Still great though.

One of the problems for the family is that Donnie Two Scoops didn’t even know the soldiers name. In a way this fact is being supported by Two Scoops. When talking about the call he still does not mention LaDavids name and refers to his spouse as the wife. So, he doesn’t know her name either. If it’s not about Two Scoops he doesn’t really care. He only pretends to care just enough to turn attention inwards to himself.

People are pitching a fit about how quickly the new Dave’s pick has sold out. Particular harsh criticism is being spewed at people who get the shows just to re-sell them. And of course they say all they are interested in is the music... if that’s the case aren’t most, if not all of these shows available out in the nether? Is it just that these shows have been cleaned up and come with nice packaging? Or are they shows that really are not available right now?

SNL opened with Jason Aldean speaking about Vegas and then playing Won't Back Down. Very nice opening.

SNL cold opening is Jason Aldean talking about Vegas and playing Won't Back Down. Very nice. Also the Florida Gators had a nice tribute between quarters of their game with the crowd singing Wont Back DOwn.

The other day I was having a discussion about how many of the classic rockers are getting up there in age and there’s not going to be a lot of opportunity to see them in the future and that any of them could be gone at any time. But we were talking the stones, Clapton, Dylan, McCartney, and others of that era, People like Tom Petty did not even enter the conversation because he’s so much younger than some of them. Guess we were wrong.

Couple of things... I believe that the R’s are going to table the silencer/armor piercing ammo bill for the time being. Also gun manufacturers stock prices are up today, so that tells you where wall streets bets are. After shootings like this the same things happen over and over...the guns used in the murders see a surge in sales. People call for unity and say don’t discuss legislation, it’s too soon, respect the dead etc... We hear tales of sorrow, of heroism, live shattered etc.,. The story moved to page two, then three, then four etc... we hear that it’s not the guns fault, that the shoo

Trump is already deleting tweets where he was supporting strange and is acting like he was for Moore all along. In fact during a speech he threw major shade at Strange while Strange was on stage next to him. So he kind of abandoned strange during the race.

some of the things I remember from back then...the scorecards on the news, the draft on TV. We watched that to see my brothers number, he got a high number sandwiched between two low numbers.
