  1. So are the Elizabethtown sessions out there? Anyone have a PM with a mediafire/rapidshare link?
  2. Um anyone else think an aircraft engineer and professor should write about sport being "rigged" using some real statistics or analysis? As a lefty I am offended. My call to Al Sharpton has yet to be returned.

  4. I am still waiting to see Sabra Price is Right on hulu. "Disco"
  5. Checked out Fleet Foxes at the Black Cat, great show! Robin, lead singer guy said his voice was bad from the flu, I sure as hell didn't notice. I was impressed with their ability to recreate and interpret their "baroque harmonic pop jams" last night. Oliver James and English house were highlights. Can't wait to see them again!
  6. damn, that looks like an awesome show. Anyone willing to share the recording? Pluuueeezz?
  7. I am going to see them on the 25th here in the district. Wondering how good the lead singer's voice is live. We will see!
  8. Got an 8.7 from pitchfork on their new EP: http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/reco...81-sun-giant-ep http://www.myspace.com/fleetfoxes
  9. I've used this website before as a guide, and it has not led me astray. Cheapo Vegas I enjoy playing low minimum bet roulette for hours and hours, but that is just me.

Highlight of the record is track six, which is a 25 minute long cover of Judy in Disguise (With Glasses) by John Fred and his Playboys...which was a parody of Lucy in the Sky (with Diamonds) by the Beatles

  14. I wan't a Halloween Head t-shirt! Whoever does his merch should make a steal your face -esque symbol with a jacko-lantern or with the Cold Rose.
  15. Pure speculation on my part, but a October 30th show in DC might set up well for a Halloween show in NYC.
  16. can anyone PM me a copy since i have no dimeadozen access? I thought I wasn't crazy NPR
  17. Will NPR make this Live at Noon show downloadable?
  18. I have to disagree. Although he was sitting down, I thought he and the Six Parts Seven sounded great. I just don't expect to see him dancing or engaging in witty banter in between songs so I am not disappointed. The songs from Meadow that he played full band sounded awesome. Tether and the Tie and Boy the Night Will Bury You solo acoustic were great as well. Did he have a tremendouse stage presence previously? Is that why people are dissapointed? I guess i am the exception, I liked Ben Harper better when he was sitting down.
  19. Same here, if anyone can spare one.
  20. Six Part Seven is going to open and be Buckner's backing band on the tour. Never heard of them before but I really liked what I heard after doing some digging. It's going to be great seeing Buckner with a full band sound. Hopefully he will continue his tour diary "incoherencies" on the mergeblog.
