  1. Not very much blippage on this record.
  2. Supposedly she's dating a Jewish guy. Go figure.
  3. I actually remember reading an article about the Rockies going after Christian players earlier this season (or maybe it was even in the offseason) but had forgotten all about it.
  4. Actually I always preferred Chuck Long to either Rodney Peete or Erik Kramer.
  5. There are no real highlights on this one that quite match their greatest work, IMO. That being said, this is probably their most consistent album -- really hard to find even a moment of filler on this one.
  6. I almost did, but yeah, not really in that bluesy vain that he was looking for.
  7. I voted for Ride the Lightning, though I resent not having the option to vote for St. Anger.
  8. Also, once Torre sneezed so hard that it threw out Sammy Sosa's back.
  9. Look, Favre is chasing Roger Clemens's all-time all-sports potential last game record. The man is a gamer and he's not going to give up until he has every record he can.
  10. I saw them in February '06 and they were awesome.
  11. I haven't really adopted any local teams here, and I do take a certain kind of perverse pleasure in rooting against a couple of them. Helps that my college football team is usually on national TV (although the Big Ten Network is fucking with that) and MLB.tv has allowed me to keep watching the Tigers.
  12. But why the Lakers? Seriously, they're the basketball Yankees.
  13. It's pretty normal. Most teams celebrate like this after they clinch their playoff spot, and after winning every round. I totally agree. Your team isn't here very often. Enjoy every minute of it. And as a baseball fan without a particular interest among this year's playoff teams, I'm definately enjoying it as well. It's fun to see some different teams in the mix, and there is a lot to like about the Rockies.
  14. It's not nice to make fun of the mentally handicapped.
  15. To be fair, Lou Gehrig and Scott Brosius did both play for the Yankees, so you know, real Yankees. And that's why A-Rod is too. Whatever. I can't wait for Bernie Williams to save the Yanks this year.
