Wonder how many Texas Jerseys we'll see non-alums wearing if the horns go 6-5 this year.
-
OP wasn't really going there...I am the guilty party. And I only brought it up for the great Step Brother moments I included in my post.

Won't ever happen in the movies. Afterall, with his classic turn in the movie STEP BROTHERS, how could this golden god of the silver screen ever settle for portraying a simple musician? But he does have the music stuff down http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXWF90pV7As

wow...I felt bad about how the Aggies gave one way Thursday night. But watching Texas crap the bed last week against UCLA and watching them get owned in the first half today is REALLY painful.

Burns doesn't argue anything. He presents people with differing opinions on the issue. -

Yeah...but he plays for the love of the game -
Do you mean 'Mangina'? Don't think it's the shrooms. Might be all the justin beiber and Miley Cyrus you may or may not have been exposed to.

I find it interesting and almost amusing how some want to put the players of yesteryear on pedestals. They were human and had the same competitive streak and desire to excell that modern players do. That combined with the winking acceptance of cheating in baseball leads to situation we have today. -

Well, Ruth and Mantle had no compunctions about abusing alcohol for pleasure. Is it such a stretch to assume that they would abuse steroids for furthering of professional abilities? Really? -
While Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is indeed a work of art and boundry shattering, I'm afraid it's beeps and boops and white noise are not aging well. May be a controversial opinion here, and I'm not saying I feel that way; but it is definitely a sentiment I have heard more than a few times

LOL I love Badfinger. The run on No Dice, Straight up and Ass is wonderful. Also really dig Wish You Were Here. I said akin. I didn't say identical.
-
I've always considered Bon Jovi as a Bruce Springsteen starter kit. To me, the relationship is a bit akin to Badfinger and the Beatles.

Ken Burns new Baseball Doc had a very interesting take on the Steroid abuse scandal of tne 90's and its context in the tradition of cheating in baseball. -
It may be that he thought he was taking too much credit for the creation of raggae. That's the best guess I have.
-
Normally I despise remakes. But this looks to be a good one.

Well...in the recent popular culture it has been associated with Sex and the City. Cosmopolitans may be a chick drink...but anything good enough for Jack Kerouac is manly enough for you (or anybody other male on this earth drawing a breath).
