I have a bootleg copy of Chrome Dreams that sounds like it was dubbed off a third generation cassette...but it is a wonderful piece of work. As for Time Fades Away , apparently Neil has some very unpleasant memories about that tour and there is apparently some issue with the master tapes or lack thereof.

This Rangers' bankruptcy, forced auction imbroglio is a clusterfuck of the first order. Now Mark Cuban has been cleared by MLB to bid on the team. Good God almighty what a mess. This team has the mojo, the talent and attitude to actually do something this year. Now we are looking at a disaster of the first order with Nolan Ryan AND John Daniels probably on the way out if Chuck Greenberg's group doesn't win the bid. Tom Hicks is the new Baseball Anti-Christ.

All the allegorical stuff is interesting and compelling...but the movie also works if you take everything at face value. THAT is the beauty and the ultimate mark of success of this film.

I really liked it. And even though I had to explain large portions of this movie to downtown, she liked it too. I migh add that it has a 9.4 rating from IMDB users...an insanely high user rating.
