  1. Ok...you win. Guess the moral turpitude clause....aw fuck it. You give me tiredhead
  2. House got too crowded clothes got too tight And I don't know just where I'm going tonight Out where the sky's been cleared by a good hard rain There's somebody callin' my secret name The screen door slams Mary's dress waves I stood stone-like at midnight suspended in my masquerade They're still racing out at the Trestles But that blood it never burned in her veins
  3. Giving a hummer in a public place is still against the law.
  4. This is just from the last two days in the Dallas area. Sweet fancy moses...
  5. Yeah...what's there to get about the Band that changed the face of popular music and youth culture?
  6. (Jonny Polonsky) It's a mystery to me that this guy never hit it at all. Frank Black produced his debut and only (at least until 2004) cd. GREAT power pop in a Beatlesque mode with a twisted ethic. Think he is/was a Chicago guy...what do you second citiers know about him?
  7. Clip show tonight...on the way to a rocking end of the season. Who will die?
  8. Maybe you need to read the above posts. RICK PERRY SHOULD BE ARRESTED BY FEDERAL MARSHALLS AND CHARGED WITH SEDITION. PERIOD.
  9. I went out walking Through streets paved with gold Lifted some stones Saw the skin and bones Of a city without a soul I went out walking Under an atomic sky Where the ground won't turn And the rain it burns Like the tears when I said goodbye Yeah I went with nothing Nothing but the thought of you I went wandering I went drifting Through the capitals of tin Where men can't walk Or freely talk And sons turn their fathers in I stopped outside a church house Where the citizens like to sit They say they want the kingdom But they don't want God in it I went out riding Do
  10. To further reinforce the awkwardness forced into this thread, I will introduce the following fact: Edie Brickell (of the New Bohemians and the spouse of Paul Simon) is the daughter of the noted professional bowler Eddie Brickell.
  11. You might want to review that point. The Act of Congress which admitted Texas to the Union included said provision. And it had actually been a movement in West Texas in the 90's. It (the movement in West Texas) was more about resources (i.e. Oil and Natural Gas) and theallocation of monies. But it is a possibility and an OPTION, but not likely at all. Seccession is foolish and not possible without reenacting the Civil War on a worse scale. And I wasn't joking about charging Rick Perry with sedition.
  12. Author J.G. Ballard dies aged 78 By DAVID STRINGER, Associated Press Writer David Stringer, Associated Press Writer LONDON
  13. I guess all the individuals 'rendered' in the Clinton years were done so by rogue elements in the intelligence services. Glad to know that now.
