  1. Now the talk of the boards is as to whether on not Niki is actually dead.

  4. As much as I love Springsteen (and I do Love me some Springsteen...) Greetings From Asbury Park did not live up to the Hype. To me Greetings from Asbury Park is to Springsteen as AM is to Wilco. (Although Greetings is Stronger all the way around). However, The Wild, The Innocent, The E-Street Shuffle (which was the sound of the early Springsteeen) is the best Sophomore album EVER.
  5. Don't have a netflix acct, but I have a recommendation for you: The Usual Suspects
  6. Bruce Springsteen --- Born to Run The Beatles --- Abbey Road Wilco --- Summer Teeth Neil Young --- On the Beach Big Star --- #1 Record
  7. No...now Sun knows who abducted her. Locke appearing like an old testament prophet..."Things don't stay buried on this Island". There are some deeper issues re: couples in turmoil and secrets. I'll get back to you on this.
  8. Last week was a revelation for me. Locke went from being 'LOST' to aggressively pursuing his own interests. Maybe they have hit their stride...but I feel kind of gypped with all the concentration on the Hatch last year.
  9. I also hear this episode will 'knock your socks off'. heh....
  10. ...Just in case you are on the up an up...don't mind him...it's just the usual noise in here.

  12. I don't mind not gettin answers...I just don't need THAT many more questions.
  13. In the summer that I was baptized my father held me to his side As they put me to the water he said how on that day I cried We were prisoners of love, a love in chains He was standin' in the door I was standin' in the rain With the same hot blood burning in our veins Adam raised a Cain All of the old faces ask you why you're back They fit you with position and the keys to your daddy's Cadillac In the darkness of your room your mother calls you by your true name You remember the faces, the places, the names You know it's never over it's relentless as the rain Adam raised a Cain In the Bible
  14. Breaking down into the Raggae groove sends that song into a whole different place...

  16. ...We could definitely party together
  17. Ain't it though... I am HOOKED on this show now. Haven't been this consumed witha Television show since Babylon 5. At least JMS had a definite plan and outcome for B5. I hope to God the producers of Lost have a road map and aren't pulling stuff out of their ass (a la George Lucas STAR WARS).
  18. After reviewing some screencaps I think the potrait is of.... Helen (Locke's fiance whom he met in anger management class and who eventually left him because of his obsession with his father). This could really open up a nice new can of worms... EDIT: Actually, speculation now is that the lady in the portrait on Ben's wall is Karen DeGroot.
  19. Sweet Fancy Moses...here I am resonding to a response to my original thread...I need to get a life. Maybe the reinforcement of the 'Afraid...a man feels afraid' was a little too overt for Neil. The context was always there...and maybe he wasn't afraid anymore when he recorded it. (I always understood the 'Maid' line to be in the context of a married woman...in other words...a wife.)
