Wow, that must have been brewing inside for a long time. I have a friend who finally did the same thing to his dad a couple days ago after being bombarded with FWD emails. My favorite was the story about the soldier in Iraq who said when Obama came for a visit he hid out in his armored vehicle and was too scared to go outside and talk to anyone. The great thing about that email was that my friend's father changed a few words to imply that he knew the guy and the message was sent directly to him. Five seconds on snopes.com showed that he was lying. It's irresponsible to spread that garbage

I really think that depends on where in the country you are. I think there is a whole big segment of the young population who still see race as an issue. EDIT: Yeah, what he said.

Wow, that's terrible. Guys, read the NYT article linked in the original post. It reminds me so much of how we all banded together here after Nat's death. The internet can create such strong bonds between people who have never met face to face.
