  1. Oops. I had the wrong date. And year. It was 1/14/06 at Edie's. Yer loss (not really...) Thanks for the correction!

I'm "working at home" today, but this looks worth changing out of my pjs for for a quick run to the newsstand. I can always put them back on.

I was looking more for like hour and minute... Thanks for posting the teaser!

Anyone know when this hits newsstands?
  5. You get around. I want to be more like you.
  6. OK, I think I've got this all sorted: Town Hall, NYC ~ 9/27/01 Bogarts, Cincinnati, OH ~ 7/26/02 Roseland, NYC ~ 10/17/02 Oakdale Theater, Wallingford, CT ~ 6/24/03 The Chance, Poughkeepsie, NY ~ 6/7/04 Calvin Theater, Northampton, MA ~ 10/3/04 Radio City Music Hall, NYC ~ 10/5/04 Madison Square Garden, NYC ~ 12/31/04 Pines Theater, Florence, MA ~ 7/16/06 Pines Theater, Florence, MA ~ 6/24/07 Schubert, New Haven, CT ~ 2/24/08 Tanglewood, Lenox, MA ~ 8/12/08 Keyspan Park, Brooklyn, NY ~ 7/13/09 Dutchess Stadium, Wappingers, NY 7/18/09 Jeff Tweedy Living Room Show, Ch
  7. He must not have had a tennis ball on his antenna. I wonder where he was off to. (I asked my husband to marry me during a Willie Nelson concert there the year before.)
  8. I'm still basking in the afterglow. Can we please keep talking about it and keep this thread alive 4evah! My husband was unable to go at the last minute and I am trying so hard not to gush too much about it, but it keeps seeping out. I'm downloading the show now, so he'll get a little taste. But it was the crowd, the sweet beautiful crowd, that really made it so great. I remember thinking at the time that I had never smelled that much pot at a Wilco show before (left centerfield area, anyways) - maybe that's why everyone was so nice and friendly. I mean, I didn't get annoyed once, and that's
  9. Bummer. I wonder what would be on Wilco (the Burger) - sky blue cheese on a poppy seed roll (seed side up)?
  10. Amazing. I especially like the one of them walking on the field under the Marist banner since I just found out this weekend that I was accepted into a Grad program there! And right next to the NY Lottery "You Never Know" sign! Nice capture.
  11. We were great, weren't we? Can I ask where you saw Wilco (The Burger) that's pictured in your avatar? And was it any good?
  12. I saw someone having trouble - must have been you. For future reference - what was the problem and how did you sort it? Beautiful pictures. Makes me wonder why I even bother.
  13. I wish I had seen that. Fun IS good! Good is fun, too! Wilco combines the two quite nicely. They just make it all feel so good. FYI for next time (please let there be a next time) - we parked in someone's yard down the road and had no trouble getting out. And Happy Anniversary! We just celebrated our 10th, too - the tin anniversary. The couple that rocks together stays together! (That's actually a pretty good likeness of us rockin out, with me on the right.)
  14. Ugh. That sucks. I kinda had a feeling... And yeah, they need to finesse their concert planning a little bit. Having a guy come down into the pit yelling "Git yer ice cold beeuh heeuh" right behind me during One Wing was not really cool.
  15. Oh my goodness, it was such a fun show. Second funnest only to NYE at MSG. Much more enjoyable than Keyspan. Why? I don't know. Crowd was loose and fun and happy, band was tight and fun and happy. Great, long set. It was such a blast! A real party. I brought my nephew and it could not have been a better first real concert experience for him. No better way to see what it's all about than to have Wilco show you. I feel so, so lucky. Pics! Sorry. (Kidding! But there was a skunk Nels-side towards the end of the show. Are you from the city? Maybe that's what you were smelling.)
  16. It was like a party. I've got some good pics, but they'll have to wait.
  17. I wish I was, but I hemmed and hawed too long and it sold out. Throw me some shrimp!
  18. Can I hear more about this? I still kick myself for missing this show, practically in my backyard.
  19. I don't think I can remember them all without prompting, but the best and worst: Best - Madison Square Garden, NY, NY - 12/31/04 Worst - Bogarts, Cincinnati, OH - 7/26/02
  20. Not that I know anyone - just wondering what kind of company I'll be in. I'll be there trying not to embarrass my 14 year old nephew.
  21. Mine, too, with proper emphasis. Also - "I can't calm down. I can't think." and "Pick up! Pick up!"
  22. Yes! It was very magical. Drove down from CT on a lark, slogged through Whitestone/Belt traffic, parked, walked around the corner, right into a guy selling two tickets! This guy was giving out hugs, but I was too shy to get one.
  23. Mine came today, too, for my husband. He loves it. I may need a matching camera strap - thanks for the link.
