Imus and Stern aren't pals, never have been. and I doubt Sirius or XM would hire the guy, he had less than a 1 share in the ratings on free radio, nobody's going to pay listen to him.

he's just as racist as Imus.

it's been said that back when Imus worked at WNBC, he regularly referred to a black secretary or assistant as "nigger" and "jigaboo". this was all off the air, not part of any show or bit, so if that doesn't make him a racist, I'm not sure what does.

I never thought I'd see Don Imus on the cover of a news paper. He's getting more attention than he's ever had because of this. It's ridiculous, but once he apologized that should have been the end of it. I think the guy's a prick and I can't stand his show, but at the same time I don't think that he should have his entire career destroyed because he told an offensive joke.
