Pot brownies are in essence a different drug delivery system (DDS) than smoking. When you feel you might be getting too high while smoking (so I hear), you can stop smoking and pretty soon, you will be less high. Good dosage control. When you eat it, you release a massive dose of cannabinoids all at once. Poor dosage control, and it can freak some people out. I think pot brownies were a better option when weed was not as puissant as it is today.
