You miss it when it's gone. Bad deadline this week. Very labor-intensive and my fucked-up sleeping pattern was even more inhuman.

Jesus. For the first time in 72 hours, I actually feel normal.

Yeah, I can't be too buzzed because it makes it hard to type, but two cocktails depresses the inhibitions just enough so I come up with something a doink or two edgier and original.

I am wearing red fleece New Mexico Lobos pants. It is my brother-in-law's 30th birthday today. I am watching the president of Iran being interviewed. Anderson Cooper seems a bit intimidated.

By state law, they are referred to Native American Summers now. And we do usually get a good one. Since this has been a cool summer, though, I wonder if we will this year. I am already starting to compile my long underwear. -

Well, it's better than him getting completely shelled, but I did notice an overly positive spin was being put upon last night's performance. -
I like Rush in measured doses. Saw them in 1990 - they were one of the tightest bands I've ever seen in my life. (INXS was too; not my favorites, but you have to respect musicianship on that level.)

The continent of Atlantis was an island which lay before the great flood in the area we now call the Atlantic Ocean. So great an area of land, that from her western shores those beautiful sailors journeyed to the South and the North Americas with ease, in their ships with painted sails. To the East Africa was a neighbour, across a short strait of sea miles. The great Egyptian age is but a remnant of The Atlantian culture. The antediluvian kings colonised the world All the Gods who play in the mythological dramas In all legends from all lands were from fair Atlantis. Knowing her fate, Atlanti
