  1. I'm probably the only one here looking forward to the new Depeche Mode?
  2. Slow concert year for me but some highlights were 1) Bjork -Queen Science Center.. what a venue! Place only held 300 too. They gave private museum admission before the show and the sound was specatuclar. I was 3 ft away from Bjork... 2) New Order- Show was good but the venue sucked...Roseland that is...still I have been waiting to see them live for years! 3) Wilco-Prospect Park! Finally heard Wishful Thinking and Say You Miss Me!!! Great all around show 4) Sigur Ros- New material and heard E-bow which is AWESOME live! Saw them at Mann in Phili fun time 5) Beck at Borgata-Small theater and it
  3. Saw TMBG at a hometown show in Brooklyn last night.
  4. Cool..look forward to this and seeing them live again..saw them in 2008 and it was loud fun!
  5. They released that song as a fan club single back in the 90's?
  6. Awesome! hey Jeff while you're in NYC can you throw in a solo show!? The Bowery show a few years ago was awesome!!! Wow I just finished reading the article! Also first Stipe live performance since the band broke up?

  10. Wow great! Have a great time! That is a great size venue to see them in. For refrence in NYC I saw them at Prospect Park which holds 6,000.

  12. Rough two weeks for me http://www.inquisitr.com/404544/mr-bean-retiring-rowan-atkinson-stepping-away-from-famous-character/
  13. Ok..glad to hear because on paper it didn't seem like much..
  14. I am curious about Neil's current tour. I have seen him once before back in 1996. Was going to go to a show in NY soon. Saw his recent setlist He only playes 14 songs??? Is this true?
  15. Mom used to throw in a devil dog or a ding dong in my lunch once in awhile back in the old days...haven't had them in years but still a nice memory http://www.dailyfinance.com/2012/11/16/hostess-says-its-going-out-of-business/
  16. I hear ya..I think Gord is the most off his rocker lead singer...he must have many voices in his head. He spent most of my show polishing the mic stand and his shoes...he was screaming a MIC STAND...A MICROPHONE!
  17. I'm sure most couldn't http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tragically_hip Anyhoo if you are curious they have a great youtube page with all their music videos..some catchy songs Courage Fully Completley Bobcageon Fireworks Music @ Work Grace,Too Twist My Arm Ok..
  18. Ouch! Their fans take Canada pride to the extreme I will give them that! Band been going strong for 30 years and much forgotten about.
  19. Silly me...a few days late but I just saw Tragically Hip at Terminal 5 NYC! These guys put on a great show!!! Anyone else a fan?
  20. I'm in Central NJ...had no power from 730pm Monday to Friday 6 am...No damage to my house but neighbohrs had 50 ft tall trees fall and wreck there fence and tear up their yards. This is the second time in 2 storms I had to throw out everything in the fridge and freezer (Just did a big shopping trip the week prior!) I work in the utility field and have been working crazy hours to get things back to normal. Will be plugging away for the next week too I am sure... The Shore which I know and grew up on is mostly desimated. It is sad and depressing. In additon running low on gas. Lines are anywhere
  21. Great! That will be fun! What are the venues like they are playing? Smallish? I was always curious what kind of popularity they had out in Asia? Enjoy the shows..the band is on fire now!
