Well, my point was just that this email isn't some new story that's coming out. It's just a joke.

Again, those quotes aren't true. They're obviously satire. Unless you are talking about something else than your mom's email.

I have no idea. I generally think publicity stunts are bad things. I'm not defending her, just calling it like I see it.

Also, I think the reason she put it on ebay was obvious. It was a publicity stunt--she wanted to generate publicity for herself/her office.

It was eventually sold through a professional broker.

Her RNC speech: "That luxury jet was over the top. I put it on eBay. I also drive myself to work."

She sold the governor's private plane, so it's supposed to show that she's fiscally conservative--doesn't need a plane all to herself. She's not lying--they did put it on ebay. It just didn't get any bids.

Well, most used items do sell at a loss.

What constitutes legitimate worry?
