Finally got them and listening now. Sound quality is as to be expected--on a cell phone with waves and talking over it. What I hear of the songs doesn't sound too damning or promising.

It's possible (though I am honestly not all that familiar with his music) that Freakwater would work better as an opener for M. Ward rather than She & Him.

I don't get this bit. No one in this thread has explicity claimed that Freakwater is inherently worthy of some great respect (more so than other bands, etc).

Honestly, they say very similar stuff leading up to every recent album release. It also seems like U2 tracks always leak in some similar manner. This may because of the sheer number and intensity of U2 fans, or it may be because the band or their management,has something to do with all the leaks.

I just stopped by interference and requested the clips. Some people there are saying they sound like the last two.

Yeah, actually it's being reported that Hillary doesn't want a roll call vote because she's going to end up with fewer delegates than she entered the convention with. I wouldn't worry about it.
