This show was way too much fun. I think I moshed a little. Teh Wilcos stole my heart again. It was awesome to be there with kidsmoke, Edie, creativetype and red1996. Meeting oceanman was the icing on that cake. There are pics!

Yeah, that was kind of confusing. He did say that, but I never saw him punch the guy. He grabbed him by the back of the head. He could have messed the dude up, but he didn't. It seemed such a reflexive action to get the guy off of him. Maybe he thought he punched the dude after.

Someone sings loud in my ear it is an annoyance. Someone puts their uninvited hands on me it is a security breech. You can't see the difference there?

Yeah and Tweedy had to 'protect' one of his fans on the floor from another drunk guy earlier in the evening. Honestly, I really wasn't amused.

What was wrong with it was that it was the last incident of several that securuty failed to take care of. Wilco acted as their own security three different times during the show, and those of us on the floor had to act as security at least twice. I really have never experienced anything like it. The dude jumped up during a song, put his hands on Jeff's face and yanked on his head as if to kiss him. It was creepy as hell. I felt violated watching it, and as I said, it was the last of several breeches of the night. The band are pros. And Tweedy was a hero to a couple of teenagers last night

Hello from Springfield. Just a brief hello to let you know what a great time it was last night. Will post more tomorrow when it's not so late. Odd night in Springfield, to say the least. Today in KC is a sunny day, and I just filled my pineal with the stuff. I have this great aluminium chaise... Anyway, my Jeep is clean, my house is clean, and the Nag Champa is burning. There is pizza dough rising. The DeLormes are on the table, ready to roll. And I, fair children, am about to shower. It is a good day. kidsmoke gets in at 6. For some reason I thought she was arriving at 2. Hence the sunny chaise respite.
