  1. What a memorable night, and a great show. Your pics are fab, kidsmoke. Thank you for binging it all back home.
  2. The expession on Holly's face as Jeff was singing to her was so precious. I have rarely seen such a pure, beautific smile. Welcome to VC, Whistle Song. Yvon, oceanman usually has his arms around people too frequently for them to be swaying and waving. All of us did the oceanman wave and sway far more than he did.
  3. THIS IS AWESOME!!!! NP: Tom Waits ~ Blue Valentine.
  4. "Did you want to get in that shot?" Awesome Clay! Just awesome. Thank you.
  5. I don't have any babies anymore, but all three of these came from my body:
  6. Awww. Kinky lost. "We had no money," he said. "And we had nothing but musicians, beauticians and amateurs in our campaign."
  7. When I went to bed last night, she was down 14 percent, but with only 19% reporting. Still, I was pretty depressed about it. Hurray for small favors. Looks like some inroads have been made this year. I sure hope the momentum can be maintaned.
  8. Dunno about the rest of them, but this picture escaped from the jaws of that old bear. Thank goodness, because it's adorable.
  9. Happy birthday, Rob. You da man! Have a great day.
  10. Roxy is great, but this is one of the first LPs I replaced with a CD:
  11. Did OINK finally get the red-phone call and send an emergency moderator over here?
  12. Jorge, I get it. My son suggested I put this on my answering machine, since I am mostly found in the spider webs, and rarely, (unless I really like you), answer the phone. Sorry I'm not home right now I'm walking into spiderwebs So leave a message And I'll call you back A likely story, but leave a message And I'll call you back
  13. CAN'T....HELP....MYSELF.... I too drove a 1969 Bug, green, for years, my then husband rebuilt the engine at one point, and only had a couple of screws left over in the end.
  14. I just saw "Come Talk To Me", and thought, "That looks like that one Paula Cole chick singing the duet." and by gumby, that's who it is. The wretched desert takes its form, the jackal proud and tight In search of you, I feel my way, though the slowest heaving night Whatever fear invents, I swear it makes no sense I reach through the border fence Come down, come talk to me In the swirling, curling storm of desire unuttered words hold fast With reptile tongue, the lightning lashes towers built to last Darkness creeps in like a thief and offers no relief Why are you shaking like a leaf Come
  15. Those are some intense performances. Thanks again, Kris.
  16. This was great to see. Thanks for the link natalie. On the same YouTube page were a couple of Uncle Tupelo videos. There are people talking through Whiskey Bottle. Loudly!
  17. This is awesome. I'm afraid I might have some bad dreams from these lyrics, however.
  18. I would give alot to see a show on this tour. So far, not even close. How To Grow A Woman From The Ground is so very good.
  19. I took a solemn oath to watch this movie at Fakeliz's insistance. I wish it had a little more bite, but the lesson on how easy it is to "spin" any notion, regardless of how heinous, was well worth the watch. Hilariously funny, but I found myself being self conscious about my laughter.
  20. Dan, for your birthday, I give you permission to devour two reporters this week.
  21. This is a pretty popular sentiment with all of us who spend time in line. "I was determined to get some good pictures so Wifey and I moved our way up to the very front and I tried my best not to piss off the people who had been standing there the whole night. But you gotta share the love, dudes."
