  7. New Rock Plaza Central Song from Myspace. Supposedly the March local shows will bring a new EP and then May the full blown CD. I think I am looking forward this the most of almost any album this decade. No pressure or anything.
  8. Hi. Me again. THE HALL HAS MADE THE TOP 10! I need you (yes, even you jaded indie types) to vote for the Aeolian Hall. Jill Barber is coming up this Sunday and we had the best show I've ever seen with The Amazing Kreskin(!) last week. He is so much better than Yuri Geller. http://radio3.cbc.ca/polls/?pollId=35
  9. from the NYT article: ''She also asks that the Vermont town's name not be mentioned. "I've had stalkers," she says.'' so you're the reason she moves around so much.
  10. It was a big group breakfast like so many others Had our eggs and we got each other Merits a town and good hash browns Morning winds up as the evening winds down
  11. cool pic. Strange - the Boston and Montreal shows in May are not listed there either. I guess it's part of the quirky 'Don't do publicity or interviews' thing.
  12. It is this: http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseact...logID=301150068 There is a download link if you follow the Myspace Blog entry. Love both Ben Lee and Against Me, so the loss of Tegan on Borne on the FM Waves is ok.
  13. Tried reading the DIS article and quickly got turned off. Not the best writing. Heard about the Will Oldham New Yorker profile and have finally caught up with it: http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2009/01...currentPage=all
  14. Thanks K! He must be getting more dates booked.
  15. so I noticed this as a May tour date http://www.etix.com/ticket/servlet/onlineS...mance_id=937738 May 15th in Montreal. Are there more? Must be. If you got em, post em although it would be kinda cool to see him in Montreal at F
  16. Agree - it's got this incredible staying power. Me - Heartless Bastards - the Mountain. Trying to figure out if the sound has changed from the last 2 records. Maybe a bit less heavy and plodding, although I certainly liked the old rhythm section too.
  17. Big Group Breakfast! This cd is really growing on me and got nominated for a Juno last week. Fun.
