The Saltcoats - Bells and Whistles. Think these guys are from kalle country.

Bill Fox Wesley Willis Glenn Gould Is Scott Walker a shut-in? I get that impression, but don't know.

Moi Aussie. I love this album.

Really really like this blog post and didn't know about the continuation of recording songs in historic settings. Can't wait to hear. Props also for mentioning Aeolian Hall and the House of Miracles, two of my most favourite places in the world. http://everythingispop.blogspot.com/2009/0...dark-wells.html

Thanks, hope it goes well. Ian (the ex-jon-ray and the river dude) seems like an incredibly nice guy and sort of surprised to be asked. This train might have taken me Up to work and back you see It always does since I've been twentyone My mother's man he liked my face But that's not all So I took off at a child's age I laid waste And everyday I bite the urge To hear those doors sound my funeral dirge Those platform winds give me the nerve It's quick and clean and trains can't swerve

Yahoo, just booked the band for and instore before the Weakerthans/Constatines/$100 concert.

I like the operas. The soundtracks after The Saquatsi movies do all sound the same. I remember trying to get friends convinced to watch them in the 80s. The asked if there was going to be 4th film called Diddley-squatsi. Anyway, Einstein on the Beach is excellent and my favourite is Satyagraha. The one aria of Gandhi's leave from South Africa back to India is awesome.

oh fuck! $100 just got added to the bill - at least to the London stop. Yahooo!

yeah - new album called touchdown. It is making me smile from ear to ear. love it. Edit for the art: so I guess it is not about football.

The new Brakes. wow. Love these new songs.

Guess so - at least in Detroit and Memphis: http://www.goner-records.com/board/index.p...amp;topic=40522 I will not be missing this. Windsor tunnel is about the only bad part. The time you've spent driving there always = the time spent stuck at the border.

Second time through this. I somehow feel privileged to have heard it. Wonderful.
-
It's actually pretty melodic and loud punk music. I'm really liking it, fat dudes doing the tuck and all.
