Hey Wendy, It'd be great to see you there. Hope you can make it. Lots of entertainment being lined up for the night. It should be a great time. Thanks for the kind words. Here's hoping the kid waits a few weeks before making his debut.

I have my fingers crossed that my own bundle of joy doesn't arrive before the show. The ladyfriend has been on bedrest for almost five weeks. Kids...who needs 'em?

Go ahead. Post it to your blogs. Tell your grandma. Love me. Buy it Early.

Just a friendly bump! The CDs have arrived at GLONO HQ and look great. Eight-page booklet and beautiful art design by our good friend Pete Baker in San Francisco. Hope some of you can make it! Samples of all the songs are available on our newly redesigned website: http://www.riviera-sound.com/music.php -
You have all just witnessed jake when the knives come out. See why I've worked for peanuts for five years at GLONO? I live in fear.

I've played Soda many, many times. While it's sad to see if close, it hasn't been the same for years. In the early 90s, it was ahappening place and perfectly located between Detroit and Chicago so a lot of touring bands stopped there. Those were good times...

"How do we do it? Volume."

We hosted the band on a recent tour stop. This feature includes interview, soundcheck, clothes shopping, and a dip in Lake Michigan! I know there are some Libertines/DPT fans here.Let's get it on!

I am loving Dirty Pretty Things new album Waterloo to Anywhere. Of course I am a huge Libertines fan though, so...

WTF!?!? I didn't even know this was the SERIES finale. I thought it was just the season finale. Can someone point me to a source that HBO has decided not to renew Deadwood?

Favorite Elliott Smith album?
Derek Phillips replied to Alastor The Great's topic in Someone Else's Song
I'm in the Basement minority. I love that album. Sonically and lyrically beautiful. "Twilight" alone is enough to buy this album. I recommend it on vinyl, by the way. Followed by: XO Either/Or -
Dog Bites Man - Sick, funny, just my style...

Toss up between MeDave and Martin Rivas.

As Rosie and Lou mentioned a couple weeks ago, we taped Tim Easton at Schubas. Included on this video are three songs with interview. Dig it. http://www.gloriousnoise.com/features/2006..._tim_easton.php
