Re: Kasabian, I liked the first one even though I had no misconceptions about it being some great record with immense staying power. I'll have to pop that one back in to see if I can remember what it was that I liked. Whatever it was, this new one lacks it.

I had completely forgotten about Duet For Guitars #2. Can't remember the last time I listened to that one. I might pop that in now.

It's still a very good album but I don't think it's quite as good as the rest.

I think that you'll get a fine introduction from either End Of Amnesia, Transfiguration of Vincent, or Post-War. (This is probably true of Transistor Radio too but it's a step below imo.) Amnesia is not my favorite, but if I'd started with it I would still have sought out the others as well. He is really consistent and anyone of them is likely to get you hooked.

Then you've got some underpaid guy sitting out there putting his life on the line. You may feel bad losing your gear, but imagine how you'd feel if an employee got killed protecting your guitar.

The phrase 'shacking up' is sorely underused in our society. My wife however is fond of saying shackalacking, which I find to be a little corny. The word, not the act.

Is this for real? Great band name and even better album name.

Section ORC4, row F, seats 8-9 This was one of the easiest Wilco ticket experiences in several years. Much better than 30 minutes of refreshing for Nashville tickets. Anyone else get these? Were the presale tickets much better? Anyone know much about the venue? From the looks of the seating chart, these are good seats so I'm stoked.
