yeah. i am pretty stoked about that card. looked up the restaurant online. it's really snazzy. i plan on eating there before going to see neil young at the fox in may. i wonder how the band picked the winners? i'm a little bummed nobody else has really chimed in on the show... maybe after the weekend more folks will chime in. wonderful to meet you too! i wish we could get a meet-up for all of u VC'ers in the southeast. it would be an amazing time!

yeah, that guy was GONE. it was really sad. at one point he raced across the row of seats because everyone was standing... he was a idiot. i am glad jeff kept the $20 the doofus threw on stage.

I am never going to complain about a set list that Wilco has. I think I've seen Shot In the Arm at every show I've seen, and each time always discover something new in the mix, because no room is ever the same. I am impressed they are playing so long without an intermission. It's epic as all get out.

the guy that took those pics was a dick to me at the show. he was bad mouthing me to another phtog because i had a point and shoot. still floating from the show though....

An Evening With Wilco at the Fabulous Fox Theatre March 26, 2010 I have been looking forward to an Evening With Wilco since I got tickets in January. Going in I was afraid I had set my expectations too high, but Wilco definitely did not disappoint. We spent most of the day hanging around the bus in hopes of talking to Jeff, but he never was around. We did get to chat with John, Pat and Nels briefly, and I was able to snap a picture with John and Pat. Being one of the first people in the door I made a beeline for the merch table and bought the tour shirt, a poster, and Being There on vinyl

Wishful Thinking hope it stays for tomorrow night! I bet the security was because of the "festival"

That video was awesome. Re- the harmonies .... I was listening to #1 Record the other day, and was hit in the face with that too. Harmony is what makes music sparkle after all. Good stuff. Also, Sondre Lerche is adorable.

Fantastically said A-Man! Bravo. I agree with you whole heartedly on everything you said, especially the 2 I've got quoted above. I remember when I first started posting, I was one of those who had yet to experience a show(I posted here for almost 4 years before I ever even saw the band live) and lived vicariously through the photos and discussions of shows. Some of the best Wilco-related memories I have are from seeing pictures other people here have taken, and reading their experiences. It helps everybody have more of a tangible connection to something in a medium that is not tangible at

awesome! thanks for posting. I am gonna listen now. I think I have the same sort of little zoom recorder you do. Is it a 4-track? It's a nice little machine.

I plan on standing by the stage door for a couple hours before the show on Friday to say hi to Jeff. Stage door has worked for me 3 times previously with Wilco and a bunch with other artists. They are all really nice... good luck!

Well, I am going to do a write up for my college's paper. So that may have helped. I emailed Deb, and she graciously is giving me a pass and permission to shoot the 1st 3 songs. I've never shot with a pass, and my seats are in the pit anyway, so I might just shoot from my seat for the 1st 3 songs. I would hate to get in the way of the REAL professionals. I'm at a community college, so it's not going to be some fantastic spread or anything. Still gonna be cool to have a write up about them in the paper.

Not as unlikely as you would think.

I wonder when/if this thing is gonna leak? That song is fantastic!
