There's something to be said for treating the cause as well as the symptoms.

I just don't think they had that much of a similar look/image to glam metal bands, is all. Sure Duff used a little hairspray, but they definitely weren't glammed up, and they rocked a bit more than glam/hair metal bands. Compare "Mr. Brownstone" with, say "Kickstart My Heart."
